The Yankees definately have the best fan following... but it seems that those that are not Yankee's fans hate the Yankees... so there's few in-betweeners like most ball clubs have.

I'd have to go with the Cubs. No matter how well or poor they play, the stadium is always full. The Red Sox would be a close second, and I think that most of the Yankees fans are just bandwagon fans like all of the people that loved the bulls during the '90s with Michael Jordan.
Myself, I like:
1) Texas Rangers
2) L.A. Dodgers (since leaving Texas, all they play on t.v. in Vegas are the Dodgers games)
3) Anyone playing the Yankees

I am a lifelong Red Sox fan and I proudly attend out of town games with other members of the Red Sox Nation. Sometimes Sox fans are in the majority in other teams' ballparks, like Tampa Bay or even Oakland. The Red Sox have always drawn ex-Bostonians on the road. For about 40 years the Red Sox have been a consistently competitive team and for the last two years, Red Sox fans have ridden on the high of the World Series. But I have to give props to Cub fans. Cubs fans are as doggedly loyal, at least at Wrigley. And unlike the Cardinals fans, no living Cub fan can remember a World Series win. Few alive even remember the last Cub World Series in 1945. Cub fans even show up wearing 1908 World Champs t-shirts. They are their own strange breed, every bit as loyal as Red Sox fans.

Without a doubt the cardinals have the best fans in baseball, sticking with them through thick and thin but i'll also give it up to the red soxs, they have some great fans also. As for the yankees thats a no doubter, any fans that boo an all-star, a-rod, when hes struggling are obviously pieces of **** and deserve to be thrown into a black hole so we dont have to deal with them anymore. Also the cubs fans may fill the stadium but most are just hill rods getting drunk and saying stuff like wait till next year

I could say "my" team and it would not be too much of a stretch Cardinals fans are great baseball fans.
But, geeeezus the Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908, the Cubs usually s*ck, and when they do have a half way decent team they find a way to choke. Cubs fans are die hard, I have to give them credit, I don't think I could have kept the faith like they do.. 98 years and counting, OUCH!
Red Sox fans have to get an honorable mention here.

The Yankees do. All seats are filled at Yankees Stadium and even at other parks when they're on the road. I went to 3 NYY @ A's games a few months ago and it was a packed house all 3 nights! We were in Oakland and the fans were about 50/50 for each. Sweet! : )

Sox... even though I'm a Twins fanatic. Can't beat the heritage they've got over there. Cardinals come in a close 2nd. Yankees fans are located next to mud in the dictionary. Gotta feel sorry for those Devil Rays & Marlins though. Move one of them to Vegas and name them the Hoover Dam Gamblers. I'd enjoy watching the Dam Gamblers.

The Mariners, Mets, and the Red Sox. The Sox's fans were faithful even when they were considered the laughing stocks of baseball. As far as the Mariners and the Mets, well, I'm a fan of both teams, and I am a darn good fan!!!
