No way. I'm not Italian, but that's not how the Italians played throughout the tournament. I think except for the M-Z episode, the Italians stayed true to the FIFA "fair play" spirit.
Why, a penalty shoot-out was exactly what the Italians dreaded themselves.
Anyways, even if Zidane took the first penalty, Trezeguet would still be lined up to take one himself - coz he's usually good at it.
So, even if Zidane played on, Italy would have won anyway.

ABSOLUTELY NO.
In fact when Zidane was ejected (110th minute, 10 min. before end of overtimes) France was WINNING with a large score... I forgot what was it...
Italy cheated, Italians are bad, France is the winner!

Yes italy won....i wanted france to win so baddd but it lost.....&& you know why Zidane hit the italian player??? let me tell u... I saw the news & Zidane said he hitted the guy Cuzz the italian dude Called his mom a B!CH....& the italian dude said also that Zidane's sister was a B!CH......when zidane hitted that guy i was soo happy....cuz i wanted france to win, cuzz every1 said that france had the older players........But at the end france lost noooooooooooooooo lol----- C-YA*

in all major sports, players piss me other players.. in any chance, for them to be kicked off, and give the team an advantage. most likely alot of the italian players were buggin zidine to see if he would react.. he did.. and he got kicked out.. to bad for france
