Danica is not going to NASCAR, at least not in the foreseeable future. It now appears some people in the news media (including Ed Hinton) added two and two together and came up with five.

If she can be competitive, come on over. If she is going to be a mid pack driver, she may have better chances in the IRL. I would like to see her try NASCAR. She would certainly be a sentimental favorite to do good.

Well, she wasn't exactly doing extraordinarily well in Indy. Maybe having fewer turns will help her out.
*EDIT* If anyone actually believes that Nascar is a step UP from Indy, seriously needs to get their head examined.

whoa wait a minute every body jumping the gun on this one.....no one has ever said that she IS going to nascar just that she might be interested in it....but her mom and dad were the guests of rousch racing at chicagoland........and from what her dad told Ed hinton was that there were inquires about her from some people involed in nascar.......but no one ever said she'll be there in 07'

i'm a chick, and i am all for equal rights, but for some reason i just don't think i am gonna really want a female nascar driver. can't quite figure out why.......... curious to see how long it will last

I don't think she belongs, just like Michel Wie doesn't belong playing in men's events. She hasn't won anything ever...I don't get why she gets all the hype...
