The shepherds gave glory to God.
The angels gave glory to God.
I give glory to God for making me rich, not in the eyes of the world, but in the things that really matter in life!

a 7 month old dies
a brilliant loving 31 year old dies and leaves behind a precious 5 year old
Why does this happen? Can't one person just suffer too many things and eventually just turn into an emotionless blob

What Child Is This

What Child is this, who laid to rest
On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and Angles sing
Haste, haste to bring him, Lord
The Babe the Son of Mary

So bring him incense, gold and myrrh
The King of Kings, salvation brings
Let loving hearts enthrone Him

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him, Lord
The babe, the Son of Mary

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him, Lord

Those of you raised in Christian or otherwise religious families who are now athiests, agnostics, or follow a different spirituality -
what made you convert, change your mind, or lose your faith?

Ask or answer questions in a category that they have no belief or interest in for the sole purpose of making malicious and insulting remarks?

Do they feel so insignificant and insecure that they actually derive some kind of pleasure in hurting and making fun of others?
Does it really make them feel superior?

I say "singularity" in that the Big Bang concept is a super mass/energy from nowhere, erupted into the "known universe" followed by spontaneous life on Earth from "abiogenesis", which "evolved" from one simple organism to all that is alive today and all that has died off between now and then.

(NOT being sarcastic)

Believers in this speak with clarity as though NO speculation is involved in these concepts.

Thus my question, which of the two contain the most speculation;

- "religion" OR

- "nothing /singularity from nothing /controlled expansion /formation of galaxies /abiogenesis /evolution"?

(A little sarcasm there for fun)

As the maker of life , the universe etc. etc. don't you think God was capable of handling humans on his own.
Don't you think he would be more than capable of saying "Ok the old times are past these are new times you can come to heaven if i deem you worthy."

It seems like the long way around to have to have a son and all that just to do what he was capable of doing anyways.
Jesus as a "savior and a deity" makes no sense to me whatsoever.

An omnipresent and all powerful maker of all things int he universe and life to need to make a baby to save humans is absolutely mind numbingly nonsensical.

I admire that you want creationism to be taught as Science.

You like to ask Science questions on here, I'll give you what you want.

You need logical arguments to debate/discuss. To start with very simple question, can you please refute endogenous retrogene insertions, Scientifically?

Endogenous retrogene insertions are molecular remnants of a past parasitic viral infection. Occasionally, copies of a retrovirus genome are found in its host's genome, and these retroviral gene copies are called endogenous retroviral sequences. Retroviruses, like HIV, make a DNA copy of their own viral genome and insert it into their host's genome. If this happens to a germ line cell (i.e. the sperm or egg cells) the retroviral DNA will be inherited by descendants of the host.

This process is rare and fairly random, so finding retrogenes in identical chromosomal positions of two different species indicates common ancestry.

Be kind and please remember, I said Scientifically.

In the book of Matthew it says he went out and hung himself, but in Acts it says he fell and literally busted his guts open.

Now, I don't want to point out another Biblical contradiction (Okay, maybe I do) but I would really like to hear some answers and see what people think of this.

In Ramayana , Ravana was killed by Vishnu. Bcoz he did not accept other Gods except siva>. Christianity is different from Jesus. Jesus did not establish any religion> He is a social reformer > But Christianity is a power hungry group dipped in the mud of religious conversions , and says by praying Jesus only you will reach heaven> Jesus is not such a narrow minded power hungry street goonda to say “you should pray me otherwise you will go to hell”.Don't degrade Jesus with power hungry religious conversions> God is one who can think broadly and whatever be your belief, whoever god you pray , as long as you do good you will be blessed. God is not a roadside street goonda to expect prayers to HIM only> accept Multiple number of Gods sentiment, social harmony and secularism can be established> God or religion is not such a bad element to say it “there is only one god that is I , if u don’t pray me I don’t save you at the end."If God says it , he is not a god it is a DEVIL and Demon.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5

The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48

I have been interested in Catholicism for a very long time, I also get that family sense from them. I have read the bible and I really want to join a church, and be involved. For a while I thought that Catholicism was off, and that they worshiped marry, but they really don't they just ask her to pray with them.

I also met this active Catholic girl, she was the nicest coolest person I have ever met in my life, next to my grandma....

I really was very interested in Catholicism, what do you think..

I believe in Jesus...
