There are many people who cringe at some of the apparent naievity expressed by many "Educated" Americans.

There's an Car add in Australia quoting Ms Spears how she likes to travel oversea countries like Canada.

This kind stupidity does little to reduce the notion that Americans are stupid or evil.

America is a nation, not a being. It can't be evil (anymore than England or Norway can be evil).
Evil can only exist in people, and the people of the United States are no more or less evil than people anywhere else.
