I have spent a fair bit of time in the nick (I'm sorry to say) and we love Atheists in there. They come in all tough and shouting the odds and 5 mins later they are gibbering and asking god to help them. Atheists are a joke and they. Even if you don't believe in nothing then a wise man keeps his trap shut instead of trying to impress people with how tough he/she is. They are a joke

Consider this:
We end up the exact distance from the sun to sustain life.
We have become a perfect machine. Science could not have created a better, more perfect machine than the human body.
My stance is that God CREATED evolution.
Best answer doesn't have to be one that agrees with me.

Is Jesus calling us hypocrites when He said: Matthew 15:3 Why do ye transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 6. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Does this include going to church on Sunday contrary to the fourth commandment seventh day sabbath? Are we worshipping the beast or the devil when we disobey God? Who started all these pagan customs? How did they get into the church? Are they evil? sin? Aren't we still Christians if we partake of these little white lies? Can we still go to heaven? Revelation 18:4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins.
Jesus died for our sins, can't we continue to sin?

I'm not talking about the laws of mankind, since mankind generally doesn't care. I'm talking about spiritually, whether it is written anywhere in scriptural literature, whether it is the Bible, the Koran or the Talmud?

being called an apostate? It used to tick me off but now I wear it proudly. Being called an apostate means I have turned my back on those teachings (which I have) and does not mean I am evil or spout lies. It simply means I have seen the religion is not for me and I am not afraid to voice my opinion on the matter. How about you? How does the word "apostate" effect you?

What happened to all the people born in Africa, Asia and the Americas in the first 1500 years of Christianity who had never even heard of the religion? Did all these people go to Hell? How could God be so unfair?

OK, so I am married to an unbeliever. I am not here to hear the lectures, because now that we are married, Paul advised Christians to stay married to their unbelieving spouse.

My question is though, my husband has sinned and obviously not being a Christiam most likely hasn't repented for. What will God think of this? Will God forgive him because he doesn't know any better?

As most funerals seem to be 'religious'

I'm never sure how to act, like when hymns get sung and prayers get said. I usually stand up out of respect, but I don't say anything or hold my hands together. I don't want to give off the wrong impression.

Anyone else??

OK so, my husband has never been married before me, never been engaged before me, never registered for a domestic partnership with anyone, never had a civil union or common law marriage, never said marriage vows to anyone but me, and never was promised to marry anyone. I know the Bible says not to marry a divorced man who divorced for reasons other than adultery, so from I told you, it's OK to be married to my husband right? Is there anything else I need to worry about?
