This is so sad. I believe by the time they go to school they should be told that Santa Klaus, though based on a real person, is mostly a myth. The moment a child asks his or her parents if Santa is real the parent should answer truthfully. I never lied to my children about Santa and told my son that if I ever found that he had lied to me (other than "little white lies") I would find it difficult to ever trust him again. To have children at school defending their parents lies with their honour is really sad.

Hehehehe I would laugh alot when told by the school.. then I would get a lawyer to get my kid out of jail and sue anyone who put him in cuffs and loaded him into the back of a squad car! ( in reference of how the police treat little kids in school lately! )

.... And I would probably also tell him that Santa knows how to defend himself.. and there should be no more fights over Santa.

Santa Claus is real to all intents and purposes. He has had more of an effect on the lives of people that you and I could ever hope to achieve and he'll be going strong when you and I are forgotten dust. Who is more real? You or Santa Claus?

Find out who started the fight, who won, and teach my child how to avoid fights and how to win them when they were unavoidable.
