Look...jebus was killed because of two main reasons: his blasphemous rhetoric and he broke the prevailing law at the time. He did not die for your sins...what a ridiculous concept, dying for your sins, this whole concept allows all who follow it to do terrible unspeakable things and let them self off the hook with this ridiculous justification. Get out of fantasy land and start taking responsibility for your every action and thought...Stop worrying about some imaginary character in some fable called the new testament, it is a joke, as is jebus.

Peter recognized that many people through the history of mankind had constructed gods of their own. He was differentiating God the Father from all the other pretend [fictitious, man-made, non-living, dead, fill in what ever other adjective you like for non-existent] gods.
