The gospel of Luke. It talks about how the angel had come to let his mother Mary know she would be the bearer of the Messiah, as well as what happened on that blessed night. Many scholars believe that Mary could very well have been a primary source for Luke when he collected the evidence to write his gospel, as he tells Theolopius in 1:1-5.

Both Matthew and Luke have the account of Jesus' birth. It is presented a little bit different in each book but it is the same story.

Follower,
I personally like all of the gospel accounts. They were written with a different audience and therefore are all written differently. They were also penned by four different writers. Recently, I have enjoyed the Book of John more and more. I am not certain whether it is because I have aged or strengthened in my faith. If I were teaching, I would use all four of the gospels tostrengthen the message. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Thanks,
Eds

Luke and Matthew are the only gospels with Birth Narratives. They are completely different and contradictory. Luke's is a better story.
