1) We don't go to temple, we go to synagogue or shul. There is only ever one Temple and it is gone.
2) Jewish males are required to pray three times a day, so most observant men try to go twice a day (the second and third services are said close together)
3) The day everyone (not just the guys) go to shul is Shabbat, which is from sundown Friday to 40 minutes after sundown Saturday.

Friday night and Saturday morning for the Sabbath. The Jewish calander is Lunar, so events go from sundown to sundown.

They celebrate the Sabboth from sundown Friday evening until sundown Saturday evening. Some temples even have shabot classes on Sundays.

They actually pray everyday, three times a day. But they have a lengthier ceremony on saturdays...
