I have been interested in Catholicism for a very long time, I also get that family sense from them. I have read the bible and I really want to join a church, and be involved. For a while I thought that Catholicism was off, and that they worshiped marry, but they really don't they just ask her to pray with them.

I also met this active Catholic girl, she was the nicest coolest person I have ever met in my life, next to my grandma....

I really was very interested in Catholicism, what do you think..

I believe in Jesus...

If you believe in Jesus, then your question should be, do you want to be a Christian or a catholic? They are not the same--regardless of what the catholic's tell you.

Former catholic.

If God told me to leave it, He's sure not going to tell you to attend one. That's not to come across as being mean, but you get the point. There own history proves they are not Christian.

Attend an Independent Fundamental Baptist church instead. You will never regret it!

Contact your local Catholic parish and talk to the priest there. You must go through some months of training and education in Catholic doctrine before you can be baptized as a Catholic. They do not take it lightly.

Also, go to the nearest bookstore and purchase a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It explains various points of doctrine and teaching that you will be expected to adhere to as a Roman Catholic. Just flip through it and make sure you can live with it. It should be available in a fat white paperback with gold print on the front.

You can also go over to youtube and look up Steve Silvia. He posts wonderful videos on Catholic stuff over there, with beautiful music and everything. He is a devout Catholic and his videos make a nice introduction for people wanting to know more about Catholicism.

Good luck and pax tecum

(When you learn Latin, you'll find out what that means.)

You need some brainwashing before you can be pious . They DO worship Mary or some other god whom the church has transposed into Mary . By praying to her , that alone is worship .... They also worship her image , one will be found on all catholic altars . Watch them as they march by her image as they give her a bow , kiss or some sign ...

Well, go to a Catholic Church, and get a priest to convert you. This is the one true church in which Jesus founded upon St. Peter, the frist pope. He gave Peter the Kingdom to heaven. Catholic do not worship Mary, for more info, check out here:

Also, convert because you want to improve yourself spritually, not to go impress this girl. Beside, in dating, religion is a big factor.

The "first Biblical sign of Mary worship" I do not take into account the "Queen of Heaven" worship spoken of in Jeremiah. What I shared here is the first time they attributed that unbiblical worship to MARY the mother of Jesus. To this day, Rome calls MAry the "Queen of Heaven." This is the exact same title given to the Pagan goddess of old.

I think you should think again.
Catholicism is not really Christianity. The Pope is said to have authority, even over Jesus.
Why would you have someone who was dead pray with you?
Also the best atheists I know came from strict Catholic families.

I assume that you could ask the girl about it. Maybe go to a local Catholic church and talk to the priest. They should be able to steer you in the right direction. I know that they have classes at the church that you take.

You bring great joy. Welcome. In this day and age when none would believe in anything at all, this comes as a surprising and delightful thing.
