If you believe in a personal God, a deity of some kind, or a Higher Power or Being in the Universe: Do you also believe in Satan, demons, or any kind of evil?

Adam and Eve ate and they lived lives like ours, is God implying we aren't alive? Or did he lie to Adam and Eve? 'Cause I swear, he didn't say "eat and become mortal".

Example - a married couple, with two kids... the husband dies at age 45 from cancer. if you have no faith that the two lovers will meet again in heaven, than how can you deal with the fact that, that beautiful relationship is over, forever, and the wife has to live out her days without him, regardless if some day she finds another. Its just not fair.
This has happened to a friend of mines mother recently, and i cant help but worry that someday this has to happen to all of us. I cannot bring myself to believe in something just to make me feel better. So to all atheists, how do you, or would you deal with death like this?

I'm posting on R&S for more realistic answers first.
I'm not religious, but I care.
Albeit there for the Grace of God go I.
.. Though probably soon.
Whilst I don't want sympathy, I'd like your opinions and details on any assistance, if any, that you contribute to helping life's casualties.

Will there be money? Will you need to work for it in order to survive and have a place to live in heaven?

First off, I go to a Catholic highschool right now, and I am almost positive that my calling in life is the priesthood. I have talked to the priest in my parish, and he gave me some great advice on prayer and what i should be praying about. I was just wondering what else I should take into consideration, and some of the positive aspects of this calling in life. Please, if you have a problem with my choice or with the religion I chose to follow don't respond to this to this question.

The closest for me was on an episode of C.O.P.S, a woman was being arrested and she called the policemen "whoremonger's".

55"Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not (A)His mother called Mary, and His (B)brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

56"And (C)His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

...then why would God want Jesus to be one?

Since Jesus' death enabled our "sins" to be forgiven, did all humans who lived before him automatically perish for all of eternity, regardless of their faith in "God"?

Even Jews believe Jesus was a great prophet of God so why not celebrate his birthday?? Is it harmful??
Jesus was a Jew, not only that but a Radical Jew.

Also Christians believe in the Old Testament which IS the Jewish Bible The Torah... why don't they celebrate Chanukah?

I am personally no religion but I was raised Episcopalian/Christian and I just wanted to see if anyone ahd an answer to this!!

I am not religious, and I enjoy coming and ingaging in some spirtual questions here.
If someone goes out and ask a religious question. OBVIOUSLY they are looking for a religious answer, or at least a legit rebuttle, which is normally what I do.
So don't just ruin the question with answers like
" THE ANSWER IS NO, BECAUSE GOD DOES EXIST AND NEVER WILL BE, CASE CLOSED~"

to make this a question, do you agree?

Or at least have a fuzzy meaning? When you think about it, what could you call supernatural? Anything that happens....happened. And if it happened, how can we say wether natural or unnatural forces caused it? If the event seems outside of what we know about the world, don't we just have to expand our view of what is possible? If it defies 'natural law'....well then, isn't it possible our natural laws need some refining? Do we call it unnatural if we can't define/predict it by scientific means?
Your thoughts?

i beleive in god but im hindu
there is nothing that of jesus in hinduism because it is much older than christianity
the only close resemblane is krishna
so basically i dont really think jesus saved me but i do beleive in god
i beleive god is one in all religion ...the same one just different names

i am taught to respect all religions because they are all paths back to god but i always get an attitude frmo my friends who are muslim or generally christian that i will go to hell for beleiving in 500 gods when they dont even know 1 % of hinduism
just to clear it up hinduism doesnt have more than one god...just different forms or manifests.
i beleive christianity is a way back to god aka known as bhakti yoga in hinduism
so to you christians ...why will i go to hell?
im not against christ btw
