Because when you are seeking you are looking for a specific thing, which might be hard to find. When you are not seeking, you accept what treasures come along. Simple.

Great observation!

Because we are/have already everything we ever hoped for. It is the belief that we are not/don't have that creates a less than perfect experience.

The very action of seeking is a demonstration that we don't have. The demonstration of having would be to take no thought.
