please, please read before you comment. my people are suffering because of a higher caste of hindus, namely brahmins, they are the priesty caste and are living gods.
i had to leave this racist/facist religion because of castism. despite speaking english and of fair complexion, i was never given credit for jobs that i done. at the same time we are living with the constant fear that some day one of the brahmins will come with police and take away one of our girls. this has happened many a times with the blessing of the police and the politicans. our girls are often abducted and raped and the police won't do anything. the police say we are blessed when a brahmin rapes our girls because they are the living gods.

If i evolved from a rock then why is there not an orderly progression in the fossil record that shows how I evolved? Dont layers in rocks prove there was a flood? Doesnt the fact that birds are found in the top layer and clams on the bottom prove that the world was in a flood (birds have hollow bones and feathers and float where as clams do not) not that they are ancestors. Are smaller orginizims actually simpler or is that idea just to make one buy into the simple to complex evolution theory. If bees polinate flowers and flowers feed bees then what evolved first, flowers or bees? If a male needs a female to reproduce, what evolved first male or female? Why are there fossils clams on the top of the tallest mountian in the world? If the moon is millions of years old, why is there only 6000 years worth of dust on it? If trees are millions of years old, why is the oldest tree (the bristle cone pine) only 4000 years old (flood happened 4400 years ago according to bible)?

I just want to know what christians think of this, i swear to u i am not mocking this is a serious question. I just want to understand.

If Jesus is the son of God, then Mary should be Gods wife?were they married? or it was un marrige sex? or did they have sex? or whats the deal? and if Jesus is also God then is he the origional God, like hes his own dad?

And is Mary a Godess also, because she is the mother of God ( Jesus) and had sex with God ( who is this God?)

And did Mary have sex with this God? or what? since God is the father of Jesus and jesus is God then doesnt that mean that at some point God ( who is also Jesus) had sex with Mary?

Im just confeusing myself here, but i have two more questions..

If jesus is also God, then why did he die? a God in my opinion does not die because, well he is God.

And what is the Holy spirit?

thank you, and i am looking for serious answers! not stupid sorcastic ones!!!!

Aren't christians taught to be caring and forgiving? We don't try to tell christians that we are right, so we don't deserve that kind of treatment.

Make this life more pointless and makes us careless?

2007-12-19 08:15:52 · 16 answers · asked by Anonymous

I can understand that men would imagine and even "create" such a being - to kind of fill in the gaps of ignorance and fear, but realistically, no being could every make such a claim because there is the possibility that that being could be wrong.

Perhaps God should say, "I am the All in All - the beginning and the end..."

with the disclaimer: "As far as I know" or "within my observation of the dimensions I am abiding in..."

To say that the human mind is incapable of understanding God's confident reality only begs the question: "Why did God make men so far removed from the reality of God as to make the obviousness of God impossible, in the light of scientific observation?"

It is the supreme irony, if not the supreme joke, is it not?

I just read a bunch of people on another site saying that their parents wouldn't let them have care bears because they made children turn away from Jesus, or even that they could posess the children! Did anyone here ever experience this kind of paranoia??

Yes. However, the character of the great tribulation is not one of physical violence; but the character of the great tribulation is that of spiritual unfaithfulness in the churches and congregations of the world towards the Word of God. The churches of our day (all denominations: whether Catholic or Protestant) have fallen away tremendously from the truths of the Bible.

For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be… For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:21,24)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Hello, my boss is a Jehovah's Witness. I have nothing against her, and I am not here to prove anything. I'm just curious and I don't feel comfortable asking her about this.

We know she does not celebrate Christmas, but our company had a Christmas party last week and distributed Christmas gifts to each employee (they were specifically called "Christmas Gifts"). If that employee was not present at the party, he/she could pick up the gift later.

My boss made a point not to go to the party, and I applaud her for standing up for her beliefs. Yet, she was first in line to receive her Christmas gift from the company yesterday.

As a Jehovah's Witnesses, do you belive that this is acceptable? Again, I am not here to judge, just to inquire.

When was the last time you went before the Lord and allowed him to minister to you?

I'm not talking about a time when you are going to him to ask but rather taking say 30 -60 minutes and just spending quiet time before him and allowing him to touch your heart and love on you.
Do not let anything rob you from doing this.

and they say god created man from his own image, so what does that make women? A lower existence? Well, since the bible was literally written by humans, isn't it quite likely that they stretched the truth a bit so that men would dominate?

If god created us all, then what of the other religions. are they believing in false things? and what if you are like a hindu or a buddhist and you are a good person? do you still go to hell becuz you dont believe in god, or do they go to their own little afterlife that involves their own religion

(i asked my religion teacher this but she was stumped)

Why is it that women claim they want a sweet, nice man but then they go for jerks? They always give guys advice meant to make them into sweet guys who treat women like princesses, but they go for the guy who will treat them like everything but a princess. They will keep returning to guys who cheat on them, but they won't be attracted to the guy who would never do that. Why are girls attatched to bad guys? I think the same could be said about me though. I seem to be attracted to bad girls. Should I just be a jerk to make myself more attractive to women?
