Then shouldn't you want people to enjoy sex now while they're still alive while they still have a chance?

Afterall, once people die, it's too late for them to experience those all those Earthly, worldly pleasures, right? Afterall, after people die, they will NEVER get to feel sexual desire or experience sex or sexual foreplay for all eternity.

My girlfriend's mom is a Jewish Messianic and told me yesterday that the movie I watched, The Golden Compass was demonic and is really bad for children to see. She also said that stories like Harry Potter and Lord of the Flies are also demonic. Even Pokemon is demonic because it means Pocket Monster in Japanese and she told me that her friends told her that they have seen Pokemon figures moving by itself during the night because there were little demons living inside those plastic toys. I personally find this very comical but I still listened to her and made her feel that she is right although I think she is going way out of the line in the her knowledge of the spiritual realm.

Don't do to others as you would not want done unto you?

I think the first one is self and the second is more humaine. The first says just do nice things so people will be nice to you. The second says basically don't go around doing harm because you would not want to be harmed. Pay your employees on time because you expect to be paid on time.

Is it a habit for you to pray, or your own thoughts are already so pure
as you don't need a special moment to pray?

Are you washing your hands often?
Are you washing your teeth often?
Do you bath yourself often?
Do you wash your food, your cloths, your eyes,

but your SOUL?

How often?
And HOW?

Why is it that in most Mormon families it is okay to watch the news on Sundays with its inevitable depictions of murder and mayhem, while football games are forbidden?

Not bashing, I'm just truly curious. No one seems to have a concrete answer.

Either you think we all are scientists or you aren't looking for answers.

A person wrote an article
"Why do atheists believe in religion?"
Well that seemed like a question that lacked a response but it was LONG!
Here is the article but I will have died of old age if you read the whole thing before answering.

Seriously, how do you think the particles that make up everything that exists came to be?
Again, how do you think life began? How and why did living things ever become conscious?
If you think "Godidit" (as I do), WHY do you think He did? And do you ever wonder if HE, also, had a "beginning"?
If you believe in "other gods and/or goddesses", I am very interested in hearing YOUR ideas about "The Beginning"...

If you don't believe in God, do you have a "better" alternate explanation?

If you think the universe "always existed", do you think it will one day end? What is "entropy" and why does it exist?

Please be polite and respectful of others whose ideas differ from your own...

What does it mean to "Do unto others as you would do unto yourself"? This is because that I see Conservatives, no matter how religious they are, as hypocrites. Maybe that's why I'm a liberal (if not a little socialist) in my beliefs. Does this Golden Rule really apply to today? It seems to me that everyone is greedy and has forgotten their neighbor? Am I wrong?

She is having her first Christmas without her mother, her second without her dad. Her father passed last year, and her mother back in this passed September. Her mother had a massive heart attack. Her older half-sister is having cancer. My friend says her sister is doing alright, but still, cancer's a big deal.
I'm fortunate enough to be able to go to my former resident area to see her, but I'm not sure if I can be a big enough help to cheer her up. I know what kind of things she loves doing, so we'll do that. I've known her for 12 years, and recently adopted each other as sisters.
I was wondering if anyone will please pray for her, that she gets through Christmas as well as she can, and something will come along to brighten her New Years now that I'm so far from her?
Thanks a bunch, and I'll more than gladly return prayers for you as my way of thanking you.

To let everyone know up front, if there's any thumbs down, they DID NOT come from me!

What sins can people have commited before even being born? and in what sense He died for our sins. And if He died for our sins, wouldn't it mean that we're already saved?
I never understood that, but Christians seem to repeat this event so proudly. I wonder if someone actually understands this issue in depth and detail.

2. IT Tech for a private school
3. Bus Driver for the city

I must say, that I got the job offer from the Mega-Church unsolicited. I think someone sent them my resume without my knowledge.

I would be especially interested in pagan and atheist answers to this one, as they seem to be the most experienced judging from today's questions.

I mean unless u have 8 kids u probably use some form of birth control.... don't say the rythm method b/c both i and u know its terribly uneffective! So basically almost every catholic without 6 or more kids is consciously sinning for alot of their life?

Y should u stop using birth control and have many kids if u cannot afford them? If u cant afford them and have to have 6 kids then wouldn't the church's rules be dooming u to poverty and dooming our world with overpopulation?
