"this is a poorly written review, and you wrote 'screw flanders' every other word"

homer: but 500 words is so hard!

later...

lisa, as she writes homer's essay: okay, only two more words

homer: screw flanders!

edit-

okay, to answer the question, i'd say that they shouldn't feel guilty if they don't complain about Christmas trees and whatnot. if they don't mind "Merry Christmas" then it's all good.

Heck no! I'm taking the holiday the same as everyone else! Why should Christians get the only break.
And while I may not believe in God I do believe in Santa! He comes on Christmas Eve so I should get to stay home and open my presents the same as good Christian children.

Why should I feel guilty for getting a day off? (Although, I got an education, so I don't just get one day off, but an entire two weeks.) I still give/get presents, eat great food, and listen to cool music. I fail to see how this is relevant to my non-belief in invisible sky deities.

Can't say that I feel guilty for getting a day off that I didn't ask for. Personally, I think all this Christmas hype has my students overstimulated. Makes it hard to do my job when they are worried about what non-sense gifts they are going to get.

Sure they should ! It's been the same thing for years with the post office, since they are no longer part of the Federal government.

I would go to work for triple pay but the building is closed. It's not like I have a choice. So no, I don't feel guilty.

Why should I ever feel guilty for taking work off?

This is one of the stupidest questions I have ever heard.

Speaking as a Christian, no. If you view Christmas from its (mostly, nowadays) secular side, they'd have no reason to feel guilty. If you view it from the Christian side, I have no problem with people getting a day off on my Deity's dime. Happy holidays!
