Yes. Which is why I don't believe in the afterlife. This keeps me responsible for my actions in this life - since this is the only one that I'll have.

That would certainly seem to be a result of believing in reincarnation. An afterlife it seems to me would make this life more important, for what I do now will affect more than just this lifetime.

Good thing there isn't one...
I prefer to get as much meaning and joy into life as possible. Though, even if there were an afterlife, I doubt I'd live differently.

It doesn't make life completely pointless, but I guess it does give us the time to screw things up.
But think on the bright side. The people you meet on this earth and the experiences you have, whether they be good or bad, will help you in the next life.

No, it's supposed to make you more caring. In MOST religions, in order to get to the heavenly or better place after death, one must have lived a present life of goodness. Therefore, you can not treat others like whatever and expect to get the good part...heaven.
