and they say god created man from his own image, so what does that make women? A lower existence? Well, since the bible was literally written by humans, isn't it quite likely that they stretched the truth a bit so that men would dominate?

Because God says not to add to the Bible or take away from it, and He NEVER TOLD US OF A GODDESS>
There you go, if it isnt in the Bible, it is NOT for us.
The BIble is the inspired word of God as told to men. IF God had wanted a GOddness to be worshipped, HE would have said so and it would bein scipruture. ITs not.
SO no, those who believe in God, will never believe in a goddess.

They were both made in the image of God, but the male was made first as the most similar to his image. Also, God always appears as a male image in the Bible.

There in no mention of a goddess in the bible "only God". I believe God be neither male or female, since the bible never
mentions anything of it. But that is not important! faith in Jesus
Christ is what is important.

God loves you......God bless
