Faith and Hope are much more powerful than fear and doubt.

God almighty and His son Jesus is the answer.

God Bless You.

Mostly I try to remind myself that fear is not the same thing as caution. Fear can actually make the thing you fear more likely, as when walking on an icy sidewalk all trembling with a fear of falling can make you lose your footing.

Also, it's not that I want to be fearless, but that I want to be courageous. Fearless can often make a person reckless: courage faces the problem with determination and resolution.

Finally, I remember that most of what I fear doesn't happen. Fear is usually a response to a risk of harm, not to the harm itself. And if you never risk, you never do anything. So I attempt to calculate my degree of risk and the possibility of a positive outcome if I take courage and face the risk.

And sometimes, I am ashamed to say, I give in to fear.

Personally, I see fear as a useless emotion. It is a waste of energy to be afraid. If I can't control something, I can't control it. If I can, I do all I can to make sure it turns out okay. I try to make sure I live my life in such a way that I'm okay with going out at any time. Should I find myself afraid, I delve deep into the fear and analyze it, especially considering what the implications are in the grand scheme of things. Generally, it is easy to see how little something really matters in the broader picture.

Fear is overcome when love and grace are embraced, being filled with light and love knowing there is never anything to be afraid of for life always goes on.

The ONLY way to overcome fear is to learn.
