please, please read before you comment. my people are suffering because of a higher caste of hindus, namely brahmins, they are the priesty caste and are living gods.
i had to leave this racist/facist religion because of castism. despite speaking english and of fair complexion, i was never given credit for jobs that i done. at the same time we are living with the constant fear that some day one of the brahmins will come with police and take away one of our girls. this has happened many a times with the blessing of the police and the politicans. our girls are often abducted and raped and the police won't do anything. the police say we are blessed when a brahmin rapes our girls because they are the living gods.

Religions are never banned they are rejected by their believers and die out - similar is the case with Hinduism which is a pure Mythology, not a religion at first place.
Ages ago, the top brass of your Mythology came up with the idea of buying out slaves for free... one day it has to come to a logical conclusion... and I can see that day is nigh!

Unfortunately this is what happens when people confuse politics with religion. In order to control the masses the brahmins propogate such cruel nonsense and make a mockery of their philosophy. Of all the wonderful things that have come out of India the caste system is the least admirable.

The caste system seems seriously messed up.
I read an article in National Geographic describing the caste system in some detail, particularly the plight of the Untouchables. There is an untouchable man in India who literally dives into the sewers in nothing but shorts and sifts through human excrement to unclog blockages. If he's lucky, someone he's doing work for might offer him a hose to rinse off the worst of the stuff. No machinery, no protective clothing, just basically naked into human sludge.
That is messed up!

If religion is allowed such rampant violation of civil liberties in your country, than absolutley it should be banned.
We have great tolerance for our believers here in America, because they don't wield any significant power. (Yeah yeah, the pledge says "Under God" and the money says "In god we trust" Big friggen deal).
Ironically, if the Believers ever gained the power that many of them seek, they'd have a very real civil war on their hands.

Any system of religion caste or otherwise that is so negligent of civil and religious liberty deserves to be banned and made into a criminal offence.

Other religions may believe so. It has been said that Buddha studied Hinduism before breaking off and teaching on his own.
Some also believe that Jesus studied the Eastern Religions in his missing years before he started teaching.
However, I believe that there is a difference between "tolerance" and "ran by". It is just my biased opinion but I don't believe ANY Government should be ran by "Religion".

by whom? who do you trust to properly order your worship? It has been banned by YHVH, but unfortunately people choose not to follow Him.
