"I keep bothering you because I actually have a crush on you"....

Why else do we atheists keep bullying fundies and fundies keep ringing our doorbells and running away?

Cray Unstable Weather (Winter and Summer Solstice)- With Spring to bring more severe Tornadic Conditions, deep freezes, summers with torrential devastating floods, hurricaines droughts and extreme deadly heat in the summer.

If you put your faith and celebrate the weather and the Sun and Moon Gods etc why don't you tell your pagan god's to do something about the climate that is reeking havoc on the planet?

I'm sure you know that for Christians we believe the weather is all part of GOD's plan and this system of things that will end, and perfection will come to earth with Jesus, however your pagan gods aren't fairing so well if you are celebrating the gross climate changes killing people across the planet with devastation.

Thoughts?

People invent these gods and then they have the audacity to claim that these gods intervene with their lives. Seriously, how narcissistic is that? There are over six billion people on this planet. Can you imagine that sum? I can't.

Anyway, if there is this "god," he has lots of things to do, so people should consider that for a moment. There are the affairs of six billion other people, and not to mention, I am sure if he exists he has some other enterprises to take care of.

All this proves is that people believe in god because they seek the comfort in knowing that someone with super-power is looking out for them and making sure that they won't suffer. I agree, this would be very nice, but it doesn't make it true.

Here's the next excuse I am expecting to hear: God can do everything, he is everywhere, and can therefore handle all our affairs at the same time.

That's just another excuse which cannot be disprove, but I must ask. How did you get to know this? God told you this?

When we know. Are we just being redundant, or do we not truly understand the Will of God?

I hear a clinic near me is in dire need of egg donors. One clinic even called me to talk about it. I have two friends that have donated their eggs, but to be honest, I think they did it for the money. I don't need to do it for the money (however, it's a nice incentive), but I would like to know more about what Christians say about this? I want to help if there are women out there that really need it, but I just wonder what draw backs I should think about before I consider doing it. How much of my DNA is really distributed to a baby in this way? What characteristics of mine could the baby pick up? If anyone has any information on this, thoughts, beliefs, background knowledge, Bible references (doubt it, but...), just anything that would help me with my decision, please let me know. Serious answers only please.

cause like there is a lot of controversy. support your opinion with FACT. do not say the bible says yes or the koran or torah says no. cause that would not be a good way to support it. use FACT!

and what is happy about it?
Since most people in Oaklahoma have been freezing without power , the east is freezing with Major Travel Delays across the nation..
So what holiday is Winter Solstice? Do you alos celebrate Happy Summer? The seasons are coming wehter you celebrate then or not. Had Jesus not been born we would not Celebrate a Christmas Season.
So what are you celebrating about Winter? How cold it can get?

Faith isn't blind. When Peter was inspired to know & confess who Jesus Is, Jesus told Peter that Father God revealed this to Peter. And scripture tells us that after we are born of God (born again), our spiritual eyes are open. We were blind, but now we see.

Faith comes by hearing & heaing a Word about Christ / God. Hearing is a form of perceiving something. Hearing isn't blindness.

Or are you having unlawful, secret affairs with us atheists?

2007-12-17 06:09:45 · 7 answers · asked by Anonymous

The bible by itself is lame evidence, if god knows everything than he knows that this world has washed it's hands with Christianity. Where's the reasons for people to suddenly believe in Jesus... the logical reasons. An ancient book which contains magic tricks and science-defying content... and God expects everybody to suddenly believe? Why are there so many religions... Clearly God's lost us over the time so maybe he needs to come down here and make his stand.

And start threatening to behead anyone who wouldn't accept your God?

(And don't silly questions about that say more about the religious mentality than the ethical dilemas of atheists?)

Eve must have been quite the selfish little bimbo to condemn all of humanity rather than stick her finger down her throat, don't you agree?

She Offed Jesus with one little bite--Snow White settled for a kiss, and nobody had to die......

As long as I've been coming on Y!Answers R&S, I think it's kinda interesting to note that when someone ask a question about God, and they dont specify a specific God;the default assumption by atheist and agnostics seems to be the God of the Bible. And it's usually a negative sentiment being expressed by atheist and agnostics.

Again I'm just curious as to why this is;when someone ask a question about God in which no specific God or faith has be mentioned;why atheist and agnostics default to the God of the Bible?Does it have anything to do with the fact that atheist and agnostics have a much higher, much greater, disdain and dislike for the God of the Bible?

If yes, why?

Hello could you pray for me? i need some answer~

i did an interview about almost two weeks ago for this job. The company told me that they would call me back and let me know. It has passed a week so I wrote them a follow up letter and I left them a voice message. However they were not calling me back still. I was worried. I called them again and customer service representative told me that the company were very busy moving, rearraging the desk and they told me that they would call me back. I dont know what that means. However, I dont want company to be ignorant although I sent them follow up letter and left them a voice mail. Could you pray for me that the company would call me back whether I got hired or not? i need a direct answer from them instead of me reaching them many times. Also could you pray for me that I would get the job? I need prayers and answer from the company..
