Priest says that a person can go to heaven without repentance and belief in the Savior, Jesus. Jesus said he was the ONLY way. Who's wrong here?

If a person goes to Hell, it is not because they were especially bad, because no one is good. The reason they go to Hell is because their sins are not forgiven, they have no legitament sacrifice for their sins. The only sacrifice God accepts now, is that of the Lamb that was slayed at Calvary, Christ.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Where did Cinderella's father go after he married the step-mother?

Why did he let his new wife treat his daughter that way?

Why did the godmother show up so late? What was she doing the whole time? Couldn't she adopt Cinderella (if her father died)?

Why did the Red Hood's mother send her to the grandma through a dark forest when she *knew* it was dangerous? Did she want to get rid of the kid?

Why did grandma have such a simple lock system in her house if she knew it was dangerous?

Was the Red Hood blind since she took the grey wolf after the grandma? or hadn't the grandma ever shaved or had the increased level of testosterone?

and why do parents treat their kids that awful in many fairy-tales?

If God snapped his fingers and the universe sprang into being, then the big bang didn't happen. However, mathematics predicts that if there were a big bang, there should be microwave/long ir radiation that can be received from all directions and orieintations-it predicts the fabric of the universe to be saturated with this radiation. Curiously, this radiation was discovered about 20 years ago, just as mathematics predict. Further, light would have occurred before planetary formation--light would have occurred some 380,000 years after the big bang, planetary formation took biillions of more years. How does one reconcile this with biblical account of genesis?

In John, chapter 14, where people asked Jesus to show them the Father, and he was supposed to have said: “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.”

Almost every past known Atheist who truley researched and with open mind and honesty...come back with the Facts the resurrection of Christ did indeed happen , and that the possibility of GOD is REAL.......
NONE say He doesnt exist or couldnt exist or denies the resurrection of Jesus Christ ( who is God) BUT all say..its possiable , and most likely He does and that ALL say Jesus Christ did raise from the dead by evidence ? And by ALL eyewitness accounts ? Even Lee Strobel the Editor of the Chicago Tribune who was an Atheist and a Journalist and Lawyer..in his search to disprove it found it to be REAL and God does exist and the facts , Jesus Christ did indeed raise from the dead ?

Here is what TIME is saying?

Harris tested how the brain responded to assertions in seven categories: mathematical, geographic, semantic, factual, autobiographical, ethical and religious. All seven provided some useful data, but only the ones relating to math and ethics produced results clear enough to give a vivid picture of the way the simple and the complex, the subjective and the objective intertwine. Regardless of their content, statements that the subjects believed lit up the ventral medial prefrontal cortex (VMPC), a location in the brain best known for processing reward, emotion and taste. Equally "primitive" areas associated with taste, pain perception and disgust determined disbelief. "False propositions may actually disgust us," Harris writes.

Christopher Hitchens thinks it does so “ by insisting that we believe absurdities that are drawn from the mythology of paganism and barbarism.”

I think he has a point, what do you think?

Christianity is a Semitic religion, which claims to have nearly 1.2 billion adherents all over the world. Christianity owes its name to Jesus Christ (peace be on him). The Holy Bible is the sacred scripture of the Christians:

a)
The Bible is divided into two parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is the Holy Scripture of the Jews and contains records of all the prophets of the Jews that came before Jesus (pbuh).

The New Testament contains records of the life of Jesus (pbuh).
b)
The complete Bible, i.e. the Old Testament and the New Testament put together, contains 73 books. However, the Protestant Bible i.e. the King James Version, contains only 66 books as they consider 7 books of the Old Testament to be apocrypha, i.e. of doubtful authority.

Therefore the Old Testament of the Catholics, contains 46 books and that of the Protestants, 39 books. However the New Testament of both these sects contains 27 books.

Like, booking a party, planning to give away all their possessions, anything like that? It would be interesting to know if anyone believes this apocalyptic nonsense enough to put their money (or anything else) where their mouth is.

Woke up the other day and my tonsils were swollen, no fever, a little nasal congestion some coughing. I thought it was just a cold until my tonsils were so swelled that it’s hard to eat anything. I don’t have the money to go to the doctor right now and I don’t feel like it’s a complete emergency so I don’t want to block the traffic in the ER for something they may consider minor. I checked again to see if there was a fever when I woke up and it was only 99

I did a search for home treatments, and I’ve been switching back and forth from Tylenol and ibuprofen for the swelling. I did have enough for that new cepicol with pain numbing action, but it doesn’t last long. And two sites it says gargle with salt water, but that burns.

Is there anything else I can do at home or is it time to go to the ER even though it’s not a heart attack or anything, just swollen tonsils…….with no white patches

Okay, so now I've seen every skirt of an answer possible. You all are very very good at spinning the answers to somehow justify why you have nothing to prove.

Yet I find it hilarious that cop out after cop out you still cant answer the question...and I'll prove to you why?

Well Why is exactly it!!!! You have nothing to prove?

Why are you here?

Please answer me that, if you have nothing to prove then it doesnt really make any sense to say you cant answer that question, now does it?

1. Um spare me the whole sperm and egg, funny the first 58 times, really! But rather pathetic.
2. There have been no absolutely positively no evidence of infinite values in matter NONE, look up hawking!! Thermodynamics is a law I understand that, but it does not say this universe is infinite.

And let me guess, somehow its me that has to prove everything, you guys have nothing to prove? I just dont get it? You cant prove why you're here and you tell me you have nothing to prove?

There are other places in the bible where similar titles are given to others.

God called Israel (Prophet Jacob) His “son” when He instructed Prophet Moses to go to Pharaoh in Exodus 4:22-23, “22 And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Israel is my first-born son, 23and I say to you, ‘Let my son go that he may serve me.’ ” [5]
In 2nd Samuel 8:13-14, God calls Prophet Solomon His son, “13 He [Solomon] shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14I will be his father, and he shall be my son.”
God promised to make Prophet David His son in Psalms 89:26-27: “26 He shall cry unto me, ‘Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation,’ 27Also I will make him my first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.” [6]
Angels are referred to as “sons of God” in The Book of Job 1:6, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.” [7]

Recently, I have had a great need to find myself. My ancestors were Cherokee, but my family has since moved from that. I feel a great need to find that part of myself. I think that it would be a great thing for me to complete a Vision Quest. i did some research and am kind of appalled because of all the commercialism. I wish to comple a vison quest that is not commercialized and true to my ancestry. I don't know very much and any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!!

This is a confusing triangle, as Jesus was Jew all of his life, the Christian Church was started by his disciples, but the Jews disregard Jesus as the son of God, but rather a prophet or even a delusional. Actually, I could be wrong. Correct me if I am wrong.
