Okay, so now I've seen every skirt of an answer possible. You all are very very good at spinning the answers to somehow justify why you have nothing to prove.
Yet I find it hilarious that cop out after cop out you still cant answer the question...and I'll prove to you why?
Well Why is exactly it!!!! You have nothing to prove?
Why are you here?
Please answer me that, if you have nothing to prove then it doesnt really make any sense to say you cant answer that question, now does it?
1. Um spare me the whole sperm and egg, funny the first 58 times, really! But rather pathetic.
2. There have been no absolutely positively no evidence of infinite values in matter NONE, look up hawking!! Thermodynamics is a law I understand that, but it does not say this universe is infinite.
And let me guess, somehow its me that has to prove everything, you guys have nothing to prove? I just dont get it? You cant prove why you're here and you tell me you have nothing to prove?

I'm here mostly because it beats actually working, and I try to correct gross misunderstandings, factual errors and willful misinformation spread about evolution, atheists, and try to point out some of the inconsistencies and contradictions in various religious beliefs.
I have never expressed any kind of desire to 'prove' anything.

I'm here for the same reason you are. To be an annoying asshole, though I admit you're better. You really need to catch up with the times. The universe being infinite is out of date. Go read something not written by a creationist and then come back and ask your asinine questions. Why should we be the only ones to prove anything? We have as much proof as we need. You don't like it, go stick your head in the sand for another 2000 years and we'll get on with living in the real world. Don't like my answer? I don't care. You ask a question the only purpose of which is to get this reaction, don't whine about it when you get it. Go ahead and report it. Just proves how childish you really are. So, we finished with the stupid questions?

Because I have never seen a place that is more in need of information about what the word 'atheist' means. I see 50-60 posts per day from people with no idea whatsoever what the word means. Before coming here I hadn't dreamed people would not know what such a simple word means. And sadly I include some people claiming to be atheists in that.
And frankly almost no one here is talking about theology.
Honestly I came here expecting to be here 10 minutes at most just to see what opinions were being tossed about on a theological subject. And never expected to post anything.
But what I found is people posting a lot of factually wrong information and directing a lot of questions to atheists, including you by the way. I tend to ignore the theological questions. People can believe whatever they like and I couldn't care less as long as they don't expect me to believe like they do.
Had people been talking about theology I would have left after that 10 minutes and never returned.
Oh and as far as nothing to prove - do I really need to prove what I just wrote? You'll likely declare that I skirted the question. I've answered the same question a few dozen times directly and honestly only to have the askers cry that I'm not answering it. But the fact is I did and it's my real reason for being here and what they're really crying is that they didn't get the answer they wanted.

You are actually being quite rude. It would not have taken too much effort to pose your question in a less inflammatory manner. Such rantings deserve little respect.
Do you mean why are we here in this forum or why are we here in this universe?
1. I'm on this forum to ask and answer questions.
2. I'm in this universe because that is how it all turned out. There is no grand "why". There just is. Such an open understanding of life is quite liberating. You can, in effect, create your own "why" if you so choose.
It sounds like you might be trying to get at "how" we are here. That is a question to which we do not currently have an answer. We have some decent theories, which you can study on your own. But it's okay to not have all the answers. In fact, it's liberating.

I have nothing to "prove"I am here because if I wasn't here, you would spread your lies, and, getting no response, declare yourself "the winner"of the debate. You will invent an absolutely new theory, which states that "man came from nothing"Monkeys should be having half human babies""Why are there still monkeys"
Then,if I WASN'T here, you would declare that crock of **** to be THE theory of evolution, rightfully poke holes in that nonsense, and declare TOE has been disproved
If I wasn't here(in a general sense)you would have my children forced to pray in school, taught some ridiculous mythology about a clay man,rib woman, and a talking snake as an "alternative"to probably the most solid theory in science. If you kept to yourself, understood what you feebly attempt to bash, and didn't want your holy book legislated into law,I wouldn't be here,at least I wouldn't bash so much. But someone needs to be here to counter the constant lies, double talk, and deception that is the favorite(and only)tactic of creationists

No. you're being cheating. i don't be attentive to and we don't be attentive to are not cop outs. we've not got an evidence for the why, if there is any. whether, the solutions for a manner, look notably convincing to me. And the how does not argue for theism or atheism the two way. there is no compelling information for a why. in case you cutting-edge a speculation as to the why, then you definately could the two layout experiments repeatable via others, or cutting-edge observational information which would be made obvious to others. Unexplainable issues are, on the 2nd, purely that, unexplainable. So, in the experience that your speculation is that God ingredients the why, then you definately could coach it.

I think you're conflating the statement "you can't logically prove a negative" with saying "we have nothing to prove". I, for one, can write you a deductive proof for the non-existence of the Christian deity, just email me if you can take it. But the burden of proof is on you, because you are making the positive claim about the existence of your deity. Just like in court, God is innocent of existence until proven otherwise.
And I'm here because the baseless dogma of the Abrahamic traditions have to be dealt with to protect our secular society. This is a political agenda, not one of needing to prove anything.

God's your answer to everything.
Most atheistS (yes, it's a plural!) are here because they like the discussion and because we object to the unfounded rubbishing of science, I think.
You don't understand that it's IMPOSSIBLE to prove a negative statement? I ask you to disprove the existence of a teapot orbiting between the earth and the moon.
Go on, do it!
Ok, there we go.
I'm here personally to enjoy the debate and answer helpfully when I can. I occasionally add a reasonable question that doesn't attack anyone.
But hey, that's just me.

I keep hoping that someone in here will prove the existence of God. Each day passes and no proof appears. That just shows that my decision to become an Atheist was correct.

I'm here to piss you off and it seems to be working. the cop out here is that you cant convince me of anything about the bible or god except that the book is full of **** and that god is a blood thirsty, hypocritical, killer. you seem to think that by waving around a book or telling me to look out a window that it should suddenly convince me that god HAS to exist because there is an outside and that you have a dusty book full of stories. your book is full of contradictions, of course you seem to find "magical' explanations of metaphors or put them down to interpretation. god, if he exists, is a vain, petty, angry, EVIL killer. the is R&S forum not CHIRSTANS ONLY. so why are YOU here??
