On one of my last posts a lady said that because of hitler's interest in the religion that the "church" baptized him and his wife Eva by proxy.

I'm assuming that this was after their demise. She also said that there was correspondence.

Beta Fishy, that's wonderful, my dad served in Patton's 3rd Army against the Nazi regime too, all the way to Czechoslovakia. What's that got to do with my question? Hitler was in power for almost nine years before he declared war on the U.S.

beta_fish, you are the typical blind faith Mormon. Evade the question with a bunch of mumbo jumbo, ring around the rosy bullsh!t. I can't believe the way that you all are so evasive that more of you folk's don't run for public office.

Interesting...

Did a quick search and it looks like he was Baptized in 1993.

In the mormon faith you can baptize family members after they are dead apparently, providing a way into the celestial kingdom for non mormons.

Of course this is the internet and I could find 'actual' pictures of leprechaun's for you as well, so more research is needed, but this looks intriguing.
See the links below.

There's a very interesting book, I believe it was called '3 against hitler' about 3 young men in Germany who were latter'day saints, saw what Hitler was doing, refused to join Hitler youth movement, etc. As I recall one of these young men made it through a conscentration camp [lived to tell the tale - it was non-fiction]. The other two were killed as they stood up to the Nazi machine.
Beyond that, I would have to do research --

EDIT: can you furnish any links or references on that?

Yes, there is a connection between Hitler and the LDS church: The LDS church fully supported the war effort against Hitler and many members of the LDS church gave their lives defending America against the Nazis. All four of my grandparents (all LDS) were WWII vets.

Don't you think it's a bit disrespectful to refer to the LDS church as a "church"? I mean, just because our beliefs differ from yours, is that really justification for such open bigotry on your part?

EDIT: Um...you asked about any connections between the LDS church and Hitler. I gave you some pretty significant connections between Hitler and the LDS Church.

God does not want us to baptize people who are death. All of us need to let God to know if we want to be saved. No baptism needed after the contract is over in this life.

Hitler had nothing to do with the LDS church.

Connection - he killed LDS members.

--------

Hitler had no "interest" in the church, but yes, he has had temple work done for him. Everyone deserves salvation, even Hitler.

I didn't know there was any. I would think they would be on his 'to get rid of' list if for not other reason in their belief they may become gods.
