People invent these gods and then they have the audacity to claim that these gods intervene with their lives. Seriously, how narcissistic is that? There are over six billion people on this planet. Can you imagine that sum? I can't.
Anyway, if there is this "god," he has lots of things to do, so people should consider that for a moment. There are the affairs of six billion other people, and not to mention, I am sure if he exists he has some other enterprises to take care of.
All this proves is that people believe in god because they seek the comfort in knowing that someone with super-power is looking out for them and making sure that they won't suffer. I agree, this would be very nice, but it doesn't make it true.
Here's the next excuse I am expecting to hear: God can do everything, he is everywhere, and can therefore handle all our affairs at the same time.
That's just another excuse which cannot be disprove, but I must ask. How did you get to know this? God told you this?

"Let's pray to God for the starving children to get food!" said the young Christian boy. "Yeah! Maybe God will even save a few of them!" said the little Christian girl.
*Sigh* Prayer is the dumbest thing of which I have ever heard. It is truly pathetic that people have to rely on an invisible presence to feel safe and happy. Prayer is so very adverse to the state of the world for it denies the power of the common individual. If you want to make a difference, go out and do something. Don't sit on your butt and pray. That will do absolutely nothing!
Although, if God did exist, then prayer is totally possible. If you think of time as being non-linear (a true possibility), and God as outside the dimension of time, then it would be relatively simple for the omnipotent being to do innumerable things at any time. Of course, I somehow doubt that it would really care about the human race to a great extent, and I really doubt that a God exists, so yeah. Prayer= Huge waste of time.
The one positive aspect of prayer is that it allows the praying individual to enter a mind-state that is rather relaxing. Most Christians are way too stressed after all.

Faith is an incredible thing. It can help people envision a better future for themselves that doesn't currently exist driving them towards it, and it can help them chase a dream of eternal life, without even knowing what eternal life will be like.
The average Christians cannot describe heaven, but will fight tooth and nail to get there.
God cannot exist, but if he did, he would have a moral responsibility, if he was loving, to reveal himself to everyone in tangible way. Not doing so guarantees that a large percentage of the population would end up eternally tortured. The fact that this just doesn't happen is further proof that he doesn't exist.

Let me tell you something that a lot of people don't understand... but first...
Yes, I believe in God and I believe He knows everything about me because He created me. Do you ever wonder at the capabilities of computers and internet and all that it involves? How much it keeps track of and puts together, etc? It seems impossible, but it is man-made and it does it. So how much more can God do?
Now, if you think that living for God is always comforting, forget it. You know how scary it is sometimes to leave things in God's hands? Or to proclaim, "Here I am Lord, to do Your will, I give my whole life to You!" and then set back for the ride that will take you up and down and through a mountain. Yes, I have comfort knowing that He has my life in His hands, and yes, I realize that His promise is that He'll be there with me no matter what I have to go through, but it still is not easy and there are some times when I cannot feel His comfort and I just have to reley on His promises.

God created all, each and every thing, the international and all this is interior the international. There are references interior the Holy Bible to meats of multiple varieties. in the process the previous testomony days there have been prohibitions against ingesting the beef of particular animals. those have been rescinded interior the hot testomony, relatively in a dream from God, that Peter experienced. however the Bible additionally exhorts its readers to do each and every thing sparsely, so stuffing your self with enormous Macs, or gorging on Italian sausage, does not be considered smart issues to do. there is no prohibition approximately being a vegan, yet neither is the variety of prepare reported.

Jesus said that faith in God can move mountains, and that all prayers to God in Jesus' name are answered. Just what else does an omnipotent omnipresent God have to do other than answer prayers? Are you suggesting that maybe he's in charge of maintaining gravitational fields throughout the universe and it takes up most of his time?

I also think why would He care about me when there are so many suffering people in the world? I would feel selfish praying if I knew I was taking His time away from those less fortunate than me. x

Yes, God did tell me this.
You know if someone even could remotely prove anything to you, you would still be to stubborn to admit you were wrong.
Now please stop making people feel bad for loving Him.
