I have a religion test on Friday, and I know most of it but I need to know the following:

1. Who is Abraham?
2. Who is moses?
4. What is a covenant?
3. What is the difference between monothism and polythism?

I did look that up in my religion textbook but it's very detailed. I need to answer those questions in a simple one or two sentence answer to get the main point across.

I don't neccesarily agree with all the tenants of Catholicism, or Christianity, but I do believe in God. . . and I feel drawn towards a life of prayer, contemplation, study, reading, and service. . does anyone know such things?? Thanks

We have Harry Potter and The Golden Compass topping the Christian Community's fiction hit list. Why is that? How do religious folks have a problem separating fiction from faith (even if some would say that faith is fiction, but that's a different question for a different topic)? Is it a control issue (thought control, belief control, "don't think outside the Christian box control)? I'm very interested on hearing thoughs from all angles. If I offended you, then my work is done. At least you're thinking about it. :)

Bold outward sin is everywhere but the sin that is in church leadership is smooth. This could be anyone who thinks without the living word of GOD. Often we make rules twist the word to fit our evil schemes for greed. Branch Davidian sect near Waco, Texas, a cult that twisted the true God to fit their needs. What about the ones that are so close to the truth man you can't tell the difference but GOD knows.
