that they can understand fully well the "purity" of God's words?

I can certainly say I am not pure, no matter how hard I try to be. I still sin and therefore have lost my purity, but I can still comprehend the Bible despite my lack thereof.

There are people who say the Holy Spirit gives them the true and purest meaning of Scripture, but even those who claim such things still argue about the meaning of a verse.

That tells me either people aren't understanding or the Holy Spirit is really doing a bad job at clearing up some misunderstandings...

I don't think one needs to be pure to understand the Bible, but I do think one needs to understand symbolism, history and the connection between both the Old Testament and the New Testament to fully understand what is being said.

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!! The people reading may not be pure. But maybe God will open their eyes to the truth. Some people are blind to the purity of Gods word. But God can change people if they will just give him a chance.

Hell no! Those aren't god's words. they were written by people who claimed they were god's words!
plus, there were others who wanted to contribute what they believed were God's words too, but were not allowed; when the bible was being assembled by men (and not women either). They were denied access. Why? because others believed their Godly words were better than of those they refused. They did not believe them...Those who crucified Jesus, didn't believe him either....can anyone tell you who and where God is?, or does god talk directly to you? What if I said, "NO!, God only talks to a chosen few and you must listen to them!"
That is what those that wrote the Bible, said to those that weren't allowed contribute...You seek Purity from that? Give me a break!

No.

The first condition is an "a priori" assumption, and cannot, therefore, lead to necessarily logically valid answers. And even if it were to be proved, there would be no logical connection between the Bible and the people who read it.

Logic and science are not up to proving such matters. That's why we have faith.

Logic & science, Religion and faith. For everything else, there's MasterCard.

No. Pure water can be poured into a filthy glass, without truely cleaning the glass. Often, one ends up with a dirty glass filled with contaminated water. The same can be said of spiritual truth: a contaminated "vessel" can contaminate the truth, and twist it into something different!

And yet, keeping the analogy, the water can be first used to CLEAN the glass, and then fill it....

God Word is true, I don't know about pure. But no we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. Simply reading something that is true doesn't give you a bath.

No, unfortunately most people who read the Bible choose to ignore large parts of it.
