Bold outward sin is everywhere but the sin that is in church leadership is smooth. This could be anyone who thinks without the living word of GOD. Often we make rules twist the word to fit our evil schemes for greed. Branch Davidian sect near Waco, Texas, a cult that twisted the true God to fit their needs. What about the ones that are so close to the truth man you can't tell the difference but GOD knows.

Satan is both smooth and aggressive. The subtle lies are the ones most likely to catch you. That's why we need to keep in study of the word, so we'll be able to discern the truth from the lies.

God will always know,, because His looks to the heart,, We can tell if we know our Bible,,, That's why it is so easy for those people to lead people away,,, They ( those that don't know the Bible ) are looking and seeking for something,, Then they come across someone like the Branch Davidian.. and they talk as if what they speak is the truth,, and it is ( Half truths ).. Then they think they have found what they are looking for,, It's really a sad thing,,, But the ones that lead others astray will suffer at Gods Hand... If people would seek God first,, then they could see evil coming their way....

The bold, outward sin, is the easiest to fight against. It is the smooth, seductive sin that strikes at the hearts of even the most righteous saint that is the cause of so many problems. It blinds the eyes to our own faults, and it makes us ineffective in the Kingdom.

Note: I am not except from this. I suffer under the weight of my own sin the same as any other.

satan is the Father of lies, the great deceiver. He is very good at it. The Bible tells us that he "masquerades as an angel of light." If he didn't, he wouldn't have as many followers as he does. When a person accepts Jesus as their Savior, and is saved, he receives, as a gift, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us a "descerning heart" (a heart that can tell good from evil). That's how we know if it's satan at work or not. But, we must be on our toes, because "satan roams the earth like a lion, waiting to devour."

Satan is very aggeessive because he knows his time is short. He's really working hard to confuse people and cause them to go to hell with him. He doesn't want to lose any soul. He is pushing to get all he can. There's only 2 ways to go . UP or DOWN. Jesus wants all souls and satan wants all. Yes, it's much easier to go to hell. The drinking, drugs, sleeping around, lying, and greed is easy to do. The price is eternal fire. The hard way is loving your enemies, helping the widows and hungry, tithing 10% of your earnings to the church, and reading the word and praying. It's tough at first but the more you do it ther better it gets. The end result is HEAVEN.,

Satan can be VERY smooth.
He is often called the angel of Light.
Light being knowledge.

(2 CORINTHIANS 11:12-15) Now what I am doing I will still do, that I may cut off the pretext from those who are wanting a pretext for being found equal to us in the office of which they boast. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.

I was taught in Sunday School that Satan does not lie. It's not that he can't but that he doesn't need to. He can twist his words and doublespeak so well that you never know that what he is saying does not match reality. He is one smooth customer. I always pictured him as a used car dealer. Handsome with a fake smile.

God said to be careful of men in sheep.s clothing in the churches and that Satan can form himself into a shining light
and decieve many and he does that very thing.

More of statement than a question, don't you think?

Usually he is smooth, sly, and sneaky, but at times outward and aggressive too. Whatever works.

He's been at this for over two thousand years , of course he's smooth, and clever.....
Just think about Adam & Eve ... who did he go to first , well of course Eve , why because unfortunately more often than not we talk our men into what ever we want......lol... but seriously ....he is smoother than 'Rico Suavay'.........
Good question......
