I heard their is a Hadith saying that if you don't speak Arabic, you can say the prayer in the language you speak?

I don't speak Arabic, but I can see the stuff in Arabic, although I don't understand it at all.

So would it be ok for me just to do the prayer in English, until I can learn Arabic? (New muslim of 2 days ago fyi)

If there were a God, then why would he allow an innocent puppy to be abused and killed, or a child who has done nothing wrong to starve to death? How about the 25 lady bigs on my porch that slowly froze to death in 20 degree weather. They did nothing. Why, then? And why would God let innocent people be locked away for crimes they didn't commit while the perpetrator is free? Why would he let priests molest young children who were doing nothing but worshiping their so called God? Why???I am 100% sure that there is no God.

And what exactly does this do to your free will?

If a tall and loud white guy with a flowing white beard rode down from the heavens on a fluffy cloud, turned your swimming pool into Dom Pérignon and then asked you to follow him, would any decision to do so be based on faith, love, and loyalty?

What makes you entitled to tangible evidence? The simple fact that you were created, and that he asks for faith?

Kudo's to any Atheist who will answer this question without simply stating God doesn't exist. I'm not interested in your opinion of his reality, I'm asking hypothetically:

If there WAS a God, why would you be entitled to proof?

why do many non-Muslims do so, and why don't people try to look on the teachings on Islam first,

Whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption done in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely

[Qur'an 5:32]

"…and seek not corruption in the earth; lo! Allah loveth not corrupters " (28:77)

Prophet Muhammad pbuh said:
"Anyone who kills a Non-Muslim who had become our ally will not smell the fragrance of Paradise."

Let there be no misunderstanding: Islam forbids the killing of innocent civilians, wherever and whoever they may be, in absolute terms and a true Muslim cannot be a terrorist

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR TERRORISM IN ISLAM

That out of nowhere a earth, planets, air, people, stars including the sun, animals, and other things just "popped" into the universe. That noone created all this. How can "nothing" create something?(or how can there be nothingness and all of asudden something?) How can this all be here without a creator? Everything has a creator so how can the earth itself not have a creator? how can there just be empty space. There had to have a been some type of being in the empty space to have created the earth? If there is no God what is the point of human kind, animals, and the earth? Why would there be no point to live?

Why do people think Allah and God are totally diffrent?
Allah is just the Arabic word for God
Yhwh is the name for God for Jews.
and God is for christians xD

We all have the same god, but we all have a diffrent view of god is all.

He promisses to destroy all wickedness & that includes all religions even those who call themselves christian
(Matthew 7:21-23) 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

These are PROFFESSED CHRIISTIANS , then there are many others, all described as a Harlot in Rev cha 17, They have whored themselves to the governments.

(James 4:4-6) 4 Adulteresses, do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.

Christianity has pretty much died out in the now secular UK, we're now the 4th least religious nation on Earth.
This has caused many changes in society, some for better and some for worse. This question addresses the things we've lost, rather than what we have gained.

Here's the biggest things I can think of-

1) Since most people don't congrigate in church anymore, they don't need to associate with neighbours who they share very little in common with. Without these forced social gatherings, the sense of community has been damaged. Can this be replaced?

2) Prayer is often the practice of holding other people in your thoughts, which itself is an exercise in empathy. Is it possible to replace this forced empathy which encourages people to feel sympathy for others?

3) Not everyone agrees with the law, but religion teaches shared views of morality. Television (ie soap operas) dishes out the fables nowadays, is this a viable alternative? What about when the Internet has destroyed TV?

My grandad used to be a vicar, and i was baptised and i was confirmed about a year ago. I would like to be a better christian. I dont attend church every sunday because the rest of the family i live with arnt very religious, i dont really think they notice that i am actually quite commited to Christianity.
I do wear a necklace with the cross on it nearly every day, prey every night, and sometimes read the bible.
I also try not to waste things like food and try to be more greatfull for the things i have.
How else could i become a better christian.
I should be hopefully attending church on Christmas eve.

Psamls 14:1 says -only a fool has said in his heart there is no God!!

How coudl you'll not?? Everything that surrounds us is clear proof that a higher Supreme is over man!!

Think about computers,tree,ipods,the sun the moon,the stars,anilmal,cats,dogs,cars..etc

There must've been someone to create those things.NO, it wasn't a man who created them ...somone created a man...and someone created the thoughts in a man to bring about inventions like the car and ipod!

I would like to create a newsletter for the youth at my church. I will be asking them for some ideas of what to name it, but thought I would see what you thought as well (in case their creative juices aren't flowing).
Of course. 10 Points for the very best!

Please respond after reading this article that I wrote --

http://pro-christian.blogspot.com/2007/12/hey-sudan-i-just-named-my-dog-muhammad.html

(And, yes, I *did* do exactly what I said in the article. It's one way to oppose moronic extremism.)

Two other things -- IF you can't seem to return here from there the usual way, just click *rapidly* on the Back button. And, in case there are any trolls out and about who think that my linking to my article is "solicitation" -- you would be wrong! It's a totally NON-commercial site.
