you will get your answer if you see a movie the message although they had a very tough time in making this movie because the muslims did not like anybody to be filmed as their prophet in the movie but still you will see lots of things wich you dont know any way i will tell you when the muslims won the war with the people of mecca and entered the city all city was for given and spared and even sala ud dean for give the people of jerusalem when he won the war

In the quran, he spared a woman about to be stone for not being a muslim.
