Why stop there?

As a Catholic, I would not agree that Islam should be considered a terrorist organization.

I say this because I have the privilege to count as friends a number of devout Muslims, who like most men and women of good will of all religious persuasions, oppose and deplore all forms of violence.

It is unfortunately also true that certain political figures in some countries with a high proportion of Muslims, have found it expedient to manipulate their own people, motivated, perhaps, by an interest in diverting the populace's attention from the injustices present in the political system in which they live. Thus these cynical leaders hope to remain more secure in their own positions at the expense of the continued oppression of their population.

This sort of cynical manipulation has been found in many cultures and societies, including certain Christian lands, and has been documented even among remote neolothic cultures, among whom both Islam and Christianity had been unknown.

If you listen Islam as a terrorist organization, it would widen the parameters for terrorism enough to allow all sorts of other groups to be classified as terrorists. For example, environmentalists (the ELF performs terrorist actions) and the Irish (because of the provisional IRA).

So, I don't think Islam should be listed as a terrorist organization just because some of its followers are terrorists.

NO!
That's like saying all Muslims are terrorists, which they are not!
Only individual groups like al qaeda should be listed as terrorist organizations.

Hahahaha hell no, Al-Qaeda doesn't represent Islam in anyway.

PS: Al-Qaeda is an American organization that's being paid to destroy the image of Islam, from what I see I think it's done a good job so far :)

WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU? Hmmm just answer that because If you assume that every Muslim wants to blow up America then you have some serious mental deficiencies.

What is Islam?
ISLAM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word Islam itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person, or a place, a tribe, a mountain or a river. Nor is the name just another –ism among the many that exist in the world today. The Arabic word Islam means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship, Allah (God in Arabic). A Muslim is the one who submits or surrenders his will to Allah. Hence, it was not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of God re-expressed in its final form.

Considering their Koran gives the okay for killing, I would say so.
They claim to be non-violent, BUT there always seems to be some justification for violence.

We Christians also should pay greater attention to God's command to love our enemies. Too often, we fail. We do not terrorize though.
