Can you imagine someone paralyzing you, then grabbing you by the hair and dragging you into their home, and then injecting an egg into your stomach... then over the next 8 days the egg hatches and the baby eats you from the inside out?

Its too bad Adam & Eve had to sin... because Satan is sick...

Pullman represents the new face of atheism: it is aggressive, dogmatic and unrelenting. It is also fueled by hate—by a crusading hatred of all religions, but most especially of ours. His side is counting on our side to lie down and die. He may have experienced little resistance in England, but it’s a different story here.

I guess nobody of us had any control on where (in which womb / in which family) on this earth we wanted to take birth.

- If you are a Christian now, and assume you were born in a Muslim family in a Muslim country .. which faith you would have followed?
- If you are a Muslim now, and assume you were born in Christian family in a western country .. which faith you would have followed?

How much is the chance that you would have followed your current religion, faith or beliefs?

to decide if others are "true Christians" or not?

I mean, isn't being a Christian about our own personal relationship with Christ? Why is it that some people feel the need to tell others, "Oh, well you aren't a TRUE Christian like you claim to be"?

Seems sort of self-righteous to me.

Mormons beliefs are:

They believe in Gods ( yes plural)

They believe if you are a good mormon when you die you become a god and get your own planet.

They believe the God of earth was a regular man on another planet and he resides near a star called KOLOB

They have special handshakes and secret names so they can find each other after they die.

They wear special secret underwear with secret religious symbols sewn into them that protect them from bullets and other bad things.

All of the following and more are FACTS and can be researched in the 3 books they have

The Bible is the forth book they use and when Mormon beliefs don't agree with the Bible they say that passage was interpreted wrong.

P.S. They say that Jesus had multiple wives when he was on earth.

I have been studing with a JW and I know that many of you have said it would be better to ask the person that I am studing with all the questions that I have instead of asking them on this website. I do ask her first. However, sometimes I do not understand her explanations and the examples she gives for certain things. She will show me a scripture in the bible and sometimes I do not understand how it is applied to what she is trying to teach me. I do tell her that I do not understand and she will send me some articles via email and sometimes I still do not understand. However, I am starting to better undertstand the bible and the organization by reading the answers to my questions from other witnesses on this website.....whether they are true witnesses or not......some of the answers that I have been getting are positive.....So please continue to answer my questions I am eager to learn. Back to the x-mas thing my kids are looking forward to gifts.

I actually do understand how they could be offended (I don't agree, but understand). I don't understand how a peaceful religion would think lashes are an appropriate way to address the matter. Would not a helthy conversation with the offender, and a public apology be more appropriate?

As far as I can tell, the Sudanese feel that Ms Gibbons was saying Muhmmad is like an animal.

Presumably they thought Ms Gibbons was saying "An animal is dirty and st upid, Muhammad is dirty and stupid, therefore I will name this animal 'Muhammad'".

If I name a disabled child "Muhammad" then am I necessarily saying the prophet Muhammad was disabled?? Will you try to kill me?

Jesus is not only equal to God (Phil 2:6), he IS God(John 10:30,38; 12:45, 14:1-11. , as the image of the invisible God, he is the exact representation of God. He not only reflects God, but he reveals God to us ( John 1:18, 14:9) He came from heaven, not from the dust of the earth (1Cor 15:47) and he is Lord of all(Romans 9:5, 10:11-13, Revelation 1:5, 17:14) He is completely holy(Heb 7:26-28, 1 Pet 1:19, 2:22, 1 John 3:5) and he has authority to judge the world(Romans 2:16, 2 Cor 5:10, 2 Tim 4:1) Therefore, Christ is supreme over all creation. We must believe in the deity of Jesus Christ( that Jesus is God) or our Christian faith is hollow, misdirected, and meaningless. This is a central truth in Christianity.

Jeremiah 36:30
Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah, he shall have none to sit on the throne of David.

Unfortunately his prophecy is proven false by another passage in the Bible: II Kings 24:6
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.

Prophecies that can fail are further evidence that the Bible is by no means an error free book
