Your conscience is God in you, telling you what is right and wrong.
You are given a soul, while you live on the Earth.
You live in a body.
You are a spirit, only here for a short while.

One needs to educate your soul so that you know that which is moral. Then you can be said to have a conscience. People who do not have a conscience, by definition don't know how to live a good life. One has to have a soul or spirit, inorder to have a connection with the greater universe and others, on the spiritual level. I would want to be able to dig down deep in my soul or spirit in an emergency, and pull from my inner resources, and do the right thing guided by my conscience.

Evryone is living without a soul (unless you are using the ancient Greek meaning, which we would call "mind"). There is nothing that needs a soul, as implied by theists, to explain. Thus, by Ockham's Razor, positing a soul is superfluous.
Conscience is developed by example, and is usually not seen until the ego is formed, generally between 4 and 5 years old. So, unless you can show me that a soul is a developmental aspect of us, these words do not point to the same thiing.

No, the word speaks that only God is good. Man cannot be justified by his or her deeds, but only through faith. The term represents that even though we may do good on the outside, the inside is corrupt until salvation. Many of us have a corrupt conscience because we have convinced ourselves that we can live in this manner. The heart, the spiritual guidance center, cannot sustain itself unless it is fed with love and obedience.
Two, the conscience is not the soul, because the conscience is moved by spirit as a spirit and the soul is as your flesh is.

Hi.....
What is thought of as 'soul' and conscience
are parts of the mind!!
The mind (inc. soul/conscience) does 'not' need to exist after death and 'cannot' exist without the physical matter, that is the brain!!
The concept of soul, is an ancient myth, made up by human beings, that did not understand Himself, The World and The Universe!!

I don't think "soul"is synonymous with "conscience"I think the word "soul" implies an immortal object, while "conscience" is the "bad"feeling we get when we know we have broken a family, society,or personal "rule".I think you can live a perfectly "good life" without a soul.I don't think so without a "conscience"(think serial killers)

no they are not the same thing. Without a conscience? definitely not. A soul? well since they are matters of faith, then i would say yes, it is possible as many people do not believe they exist. including me.

No, your soul and your conscience are not the same, however if you have no conscience, you were born a sociopath which requires much help and people should be very clear of your lack of it.

No, no. You ARE a soul. Your soul lives in the body. Conscience is part of your will.
