I'm literally mad in love with this guy, he's in my thoughts everyday. He loved me once too, but I didn't love him the way he did. I was a young and stupid 16 year old girl, I really did like him but I wasn't in love with him. In one of our conversations I told him that I loved someone else. He said he'll always love me and that he's there if I need him.

Well, I love him now and I really want a chance with him...the problem is, he's been dead for 8 years on the 27th. I see him in my dreams and we look at each other not knowing what to do, then, I run to him and tell him to never let go. In another dream we were sitting on the beach and he said something that broke my heart. When he was alive he loved fishing, he loved the ocean and was on the ocean all summer long fishing. In my dream he told me that he can't go on the ocean anymore. I broke into tears because I know how much he loved the ocean. It's so real in my dreams that I think he's there on the other side waiting for me like he said, he’ll always be there if I needed him.

I refuse to love another man, am I crazy for this? I want to believe that when I die he’ll be there…what do I need to believe in so that he will be there?

I see this theocracy fear posed by alot of nonchristians and was wondering what it is based on.
We managed to have school sponsered prayer for many years, people arrested for homosexual acts, abortion banned and never did we become a theocracy. Now we have legal and unlimited abortions, gay marriage will one day soon be an American reality, we have dropped school sponsored prayer, governments, schools, and even the secular establishment have abolished the words Merry Christmas and have replaced them with more benign, less specific references (winterfest, holiday season, etc) A ton of politicians espouse "god" and as long as God is watered down and not too much in the public square its "ok" otherwise some Christians are made to look like hatemongers for having opposing opinions. My question is where is the fear that there is going to be a takeover by the Christian right and a formed theocracy? Is it not clear that Christianity in its true form is just not that popular anymore?

Many American Christians trumpet the idea that American was intended to be a Christian nation founded on Christian values. However, those people might want to read the Treaty with Tripoli which was drafted and ratified under presidents Washington and Adams.

Article XI of the treaty reads "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

Taken with the lack of mention of God or Christianity in the Constitution, could it be that our country was not founded on Christianity?

More information coming in the additional details.

If not, where would you want to be married, or where were you married?

My brother and sister were married on the beach, if the tide was any higher we would be in the water...

It was great, but I prefer a nice indoor church wedding...as long as it doesn't go slow...

I keep hearing the US is a Christian Nation crap over and over, so how do you explain Article11 in the Trety of Tripoli? It states:

"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

It was signed by President and Founding Father John Adams, and unaniomusly passed by the Senate. I think that says it all.

We share over 98% of the same genetic material with the modern chimpanzee. That's not to say we are related to a chimp, but rather we are related to the same evolutionary ancestor. Remember we're talking about millions of years here.

If you believe in Christianity then god is your father, and Jesus is your savior. So i'm asking you to answer these questions for me:

1. Who is Mary Magalin. Wasn't she Jesus's mother? Or did they just have the same first name.
2. When the virgin Mary seen the angel, how do we know she wasn't just dilusional?
3. I was told no one seen Jesus rise from the dead. Then how do we know? What if someone stole his dead body by finding a way in?
4. If god is so wonderful, why is he asking so much for us. "Go to church every sunday." What if we just can't possibly do that?
5. Pray every night. What if we forget?
6. Everyone sins in their life just once, and a simple ASKING for forgiveness makes it all go away?

Preach to me.
I love to learn.
