Sometimes my body is curvy sometimes it's not. I think it's because of my prayer because sometimes I feel forced to pray for things I don't want. Last Saturday my neighbor said to me "You have a good body. Small waist and big hips" But yesterday my mother's friend said my body isn't like a coke bottle because my hips aren't big enough and my waist isn't small enough. How could my body have changed that quickly in only a few days? That must have been a miracle. Why last week people told me my body is like a coke bottle but yesterday somebody said my body isn't? It must have been a miracle. I don't believe in the God of the Bible- I believe in another supernatural force that answers prayer no matter what. It's strange. I tested the power of this prayer a month ago. A 3 year old boy was walking by. I prayed my friend would think he's 15. I asked my friend "How old do u think he is?" He said "15" Wow that little boy certainly wasn't 15! That must have been a miracle. What do you think?

Yes, yes, I know sometimes it's hard to even find here sometimes, but seriously, is it not truly ridiculous to belive that there isn't? How much do you believe that religion interferes with with the scientific study of this? Or does it further it?

the biggest sacrifice i think is Moses giving up the last forties years of LIFE because God said So .....sacrificing everyday hardship and adversity for FORTY YEARS in the desert....and even though He wasnt permited in the promise land God let him see the promise land before He died.

John 8: A woman was accused of adultery, and was going to be punished by stoning. Jesus said: "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

Actually one person did throw a stone at her (This line was deleted from the Bible). Who was that person? Ten points for the first correct answer.

it happens all the time, but scientifically childbirth is an amazing thing. We cant explain how we get from these chromosomes and eggs( we know the process) to form into other humans, like where the bones came from and the veins and the heart.
It was one of the main reasons why this one big Athesist- Flu( name) started beliving in God. But maybe it can be explained later in the future, but right now, its a pretty cool thing, scientificaly....Child Birth is trully a Miracle

I was OPEN-MINDEDLY curious about the islam religion and was looking up things about them and I have found a website where these muslims (not terrorists, a muslim family who runs a bakery wrote this page for other muslims to study through) And they called us devil caucasians, and the reasons (as best I can gather it) is because we stole the land from the native americans and are all selfish and evil and greedy. My problem is, Muslims in america are mostly african-americans and people from the middle east, I didn't even know native americans had anything to do with the muslims, and if not, why do they hate white people for it? It's not any of their business... and not all white people are selfish, evil and greedy, and even if that were true, I bet you could find just as many in the muslim community. And don't come spouting anti-islam sentiments, because I am completely against that, no matter what relinion color etc., I am open minded. I'll post the website link in the next block.

So many people are like "I hate God" but dont tell me why they just say it. God is a loving God and gave his 1 and only son so that we can live eternally in heaven. He has never sinned and never will and he is perfect and even if u hate him he still loves you no less than anyone else. He has unconditional love and is always there when u need him even if u cant see him he is there. He knocks on the door to your heart all the time and its your choise to open or not. But no worries cause he will never stop knocking.

As if something is influenced by a pagan festival or belief automatically makes it bad or not as valid. What do people of other spiritual faiths think when people do this?

Ok, dont get me wrong...Yes i believe in God. I know that He will help heal people and that praying does help in some cases. But when my uncle was diagnosed with cancer 3 and a half years ago i prayed every night that he'd get better and he still died a year later. I've heard plenty of stories where God has saved someone's life because they prayed and asked Him to help heal them and i do believe some of them. However not everyone is a Christian so saying "just pray and God will help" or something along those lines isn't always the answer. I guess what im trying to say is...Why are most people so quick to assume that praying is always the answer??

Mary did you know that your baby boy would some day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.

Mary did you know that your baby boy would give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when your kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.

Oh Mary did you know---

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb---.

Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding is the great--I--- AM---.

Revelations 7 (KJV) reads, "4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."

So.... how many Christians will be upset when they learn they are not one of the 144,000 people who will go to heaven?
That's not very many people.

the bible for a third time, since It's been quite awhile, the first time I read the catholic version with the apocrypha intact, the second time I read standard King James version, so from a poetic stand point what is the most lyrical and fun of the version of the bible, (note I am reading it as literature not to study)?

Any comments or recommendations? I'm just curious. If there is a certain bias to a given site, in any particular direction, let me know. And I mean all sites- Christian, atheist, pagan, whatever.
