the bible for a third time, since It's been quite awhile, the first time I read the catholic version with the apocrypha intact, the second time I read standard King James version, so from a poetic stand point what is the most lyrical and fun of the version of the bible, (note I am reading it as literature not to study)?

Max Lacado's study version was an easy and flowing read. King James was so very hard and Shakespearean.
NIV is an easy read.
But any version is just that, another version.
The Catholic bible was the first version (taken from the Gnostic records, and other Pagan faiths of the land, mostly roman) and Catholic means,,,"UNIVERSAL". It was put together by Constantine and his scribes in 350 a.d.
