It's a good start.
We (folks like you and me) had no choice about the idiots getting into office. Because it's millions of idiots just like them that voted them in. We're outnumbered, dear.

Unfortunately no. Fundies make up only a portion of the idiots that are destroying the quality of life in the US. We also have mindless bureaucrats, big business enthusiasts, and moral leftists. All are cancerous to the system. All will do their best to screw the average American.

Getting rid of just the fundies won't solve the problem (though it would be a step in the right direction). We really need to vote them all out and start over.

I don't think ANYTHING can save our government at this point. The choice appears to be pseudo-fundies [actually econo-industrialists under camouflage] or insanely power-addicted Liberals who could care less about individual freedom. Frankly, I don't particularly care who wins anymore. Either way, I lose.

How about giving some examples of "fundies" in Washington?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

The problems with our government... AND our society/culture today is because of the LACK of GOD in it. Witness the words of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who described the problems of both East and West as "a disaster" rooted in agnosticism and atheism. He referred to it as "the calamity of an autonomous, irreligious humanistic consciousness."

"It has made man the measure of all things on earth—imperfect man, who is never free of pride, self-interest, envy, vanity, and dozens of other defects. We are now paying for the mistakes which were not properly appraised at the beginning of the journey. On the way from the Renaissance to our days we have enriched our experience, but we have lost the concept of a Supreme Complete Entity which used to restrain our passions and our irresponsibility."

Learn it... live it... love it!

Have a right-wing day!

I think you should be more concerned about the money grubbers and the opportunists but then that's just me. Love of money truly is the root of all evil whether a "fundie" or not.

They aren't fundies. They just pretended to be, because real fundies tend to actually vote.

Republican or Democrat, the government is always going to consist of a bunch of corrupt idiots. The only halfway decent president the US has had was Reagan, everybody else is in it for the fame and money.

Ron Paul can save our government and bring it back to the constitution!

Look where it has lead to. Don't you see into the past? If it is going downhill, it's in perfection that promises death.
