Realize that Catholicism is made up of Tradition and Scripture, not just one, and not just the other, but both. Revelation is an odd book of the Bible in the way that it is the only book where it's not made up of facts or statistics like, say, the book of Genesis or the book of Numbers; the book of Revelation is a book written by St. John the Evangelist, writer of the Gospel by his name, on the island of Patmos (near Greece somewhat) when he had been exiled. He received visions of the apocalypse and that is what he wrote the book on; these visions he received.
Hope this helps and keep the faith! ;-)

In the part about the horsemen of the apocalypse, and where it says: "The Catholic church is responsible for this and all who see are called to be angry, intolerant and bigoted toward their Christian brethren."
