For the good of all, bob killed his son.

If ever there is a god, then that god should be benevolent.
He should have cured his son, and prevented Bob from becoming a murderer.
But I don't believe in all this jazz. This pathetic guy doesn't exist, deserves no blame. Bob is entirely responsible for his action.

It's happened plenty of times all throughout history, this same scenario. It has usually still been looked upon as a serious crime of murder, though the suffering victim and the perp's compassion for his loved on is a mitigating circumstance

It's called euthanasia, and it isn't legal. Bob would be slapped with a murder charge and likely never see the light of day again.
