There is the video of the man in question (that HE proudly posted), showing him ranting and raving in the middle of a Catholic Mass.

He says that this method of 'witnessing' actually works... HA!

I was curious as to everyone's opinion of this lunatic, and I wanted to know if anyone here thinks he's doing the right thing?

Why do you discredit other religions? Do they all deserve some credit for their beliefs and contributions to society? I am not saying I believe they are true, or there is a god or goddess, or even reincarnation, I am saying that they deserve more credit than some of us are giving them.

I'm curious if there are people here to practice Asatru, and if any of those who practice can tell me about their religion.

I feel myself called to that religion, but even after researching it online I feel I don't know much about it still. I have Norse ancestry (swedish and norwegian) and feel it might be my bloodline/ancestry calling me to the religion.

It maybe because there's more of a Christian debate or involvement on Y/A but there seems to be a lot more anti-Christian sentiment.I would also like to state that the pragmatic Atheists do have an excellent debate without the Christian bashing.

So He will then accept them? Is that what repentance is about - making ourselves more acceptable to God? What do you think?

I really am trying to make this non-offensive but not sure how successful I will be.

I have seen Catholics on here talk about how in their church everyone believes exactly the same. The teaching does not change. I don't see how this can be. Do you never question what your priest teaches you? Do you never say what he just taught doesn't make sense? That you read it differently than him? I know I do this often in my church and I will talk to my pastor about it. Sometimes I come around to his way of thinking and other times not. Do Catholics never do this? Or do you just assume everything the priest teaches must be right even if it seems wrong to you?

I really tried to be as unoffensive as possible so please forgive any offense I caused.

She says she feels as if someone is going to die and it will be someone that we didn't expect. She also has said that it feels as if someone is crawling on the bed on all fours! She's very serious and I don't know what to say to her? Has anyone had similar experiences with the paranormal stuff?

After all, few of them obey OT dietary laws. Why should these outdated sexual restrictions be any different?

Please explain the following statement: "If there kurks in most modern minds the notion that no desire of our own good and earnestly to hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing I submit that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is not part of the Christian faith." Also, please compare the sentiment Lewis expresses about sentiments of Kant's in this text as opposed to the sentiments he expressed in The Problem of Pain. Help! I read EVERYTHING, but I can't answer this. The quote is word for word from my study questions and doesn't even make sense to me. Grrrrrrrr!
