NEWTON: humble and reclusive figure, Isaac Newton was a Christian who studied the Bible daily and believed that God created everything, including the Bible. He believed that the Bible was true in every respect. Throughout his life he continually tested biblical truth against the physical truths of experimental and theoretical science and never observed a contradiction, according to his many biographers. Newton's writings reflected his belief that his scientific work was a method by which to reinforce belief in biblical truth...http://www.biblecodedigest.com/page.php/74 and others : Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, Brahe, Descartes, Newton, Leibniz, Gassendi, Pascal, Mersenne, Cuvier, Harvey

Where do you think everything came from?
- Best evidence is for the Big Bang
What is the point of living?
- There is none. Life is what you make of it.
How do you decide how to live?
-- With my brain.
What hope can you find?
-- Lots. The world is becoming a better and better place. The statistics bear that out. The world is becoming less violent. It's becoming richer and less hungry.

1. I have never said I know exactly how everything came about. There are hundreds upon hundreds of theories people have come up with. The reason I do not believe in god is because I believe all the "evidence" that there is a god is not "evidence" at all. It is nothing more than a book people took way to seriously. I mean, how else could the government back then explain something they didn't know and maintain control of all their people?
If there actually was good proof god existed, there wouldn't be a question.
It is absolutely NOT TRUE more scientists have faith - I don't know where you heard that but I have always heard the opposite. Stephen Hawking is an Atheist.
2. Good question - it's whatever you want it to be. What's the point in living if you believe in god? Just so he can win the bet he made with Satan in the beginning that more will serve him?
It makes you wonder what god's real purpose for us was if Eve didn't eat that apple - to bow down and kiss his *** all day long just for creating us? What kind of a "merciful good person" likes to be worshipped?
3. I have decided to live my life without any regrets, to be a helping hand when needed, and to make the most of everything. I want to be able to live my 70-80 years to the fullest.
4. What do you mean "hope"? Hope for what? That I'll go to heaven? That something will happen after I die? Nothing will happen after I die, I'll just be dead.

Evolution in not the theory of where everything came from. Sounds like you aren't listening. That would be the big-bang theory which could be true. There is about as much proof of that as anything else. Where did you get your fact about scientists? You can't just make something up and it becomes true. Site your source. Plus, wouldn't finding the missing link between monkeys and humans provide more evidence for evolution? Maybe you don't understand what "link" means. The theory of evolution doesn't disprove an the possibility of there being a God anyway. It disproves parts of the bible, but not God. It is possible for a God and evolution to both be true.
As far as the meaning of life, I don't know. You tell me. What is the point of life on this earth if you are a believer? You think we are here just to worship a supreme being? I don't have all the answers, but I always felt like our purpose had something to do with furthering the life of our species, finding answers to questions, impacting the life of others and pursuing happiness. Again, who knows? You don't.
As far as how I decide to live, my parents helped with that. The laws of the land dictate that somewhat. Society helps direct you on a path of "the norm". I know right from wrong. Just because someone isn't religious, doesn't mean they don't have morals or good instincts.
What hope do I need? Hope for what? I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. I hope I can keep my job. I hope I am happy with where I am in 10 years. I hope I have healthy kids some day. I hope I die a painless death. If there is a God, I hope he understands where I am coming from.
You don't have all the answers, so don't pretend like you do. I am not saying you are wrong in what you believe, but don't disrepect others for believing in something else. "What hope can you find?" As if the rest of us have nothing to live for because we don't belive in your God. Its a big world. Open your mind, you may be surprised at what you find.

Whoever told you evolution theor fails was lying to you.
Uh, if they found the "missing" gene between monkeys and humans, wouldn't that be further support for evolution? That part makes no sense.
Besides, we didn't decend from monkeys; all monkey and apes had a common ancestor; over time, monkeys and apes became separate, and individual species of each later evolved.
We're apes.
There are fewer and fewer believers every generation. Whoever told you more and more scientists become Christian was lying to you.
I'm alive. I can choose whatever purposes I want.
I don't find the question of how I decide to live intelligible. I've never had a life plan.
I find a lot of hope. That's because I use my power of reason to comprehend the world and I see that we are slowly becoming more civilized and more knowlegeable.

Non believers of what?
1. I believe there is a higher power, but that it cannot be as concrete or human as we have historically tried to make it. Simply by being, this higher power put into motion the factors that caused existence as we know it, but that higher power did not intervene and choose for things to be as they are.
2. Life is worth living because it exists. I have a life so I might as well do what I can while I have it. I don’t need some promise of a mansion in the sky to want a fulfilling existence now.
3. I don’t really understand why people fight about what to believe. At the root of it all, what matters is how we treat each other, not which Flying Spaghetti Monster we worship. I believe in karma. You get what you give. The love you take is equal to the love you make. Forget silly details and be nice already!
4. Hope for what? I don’t get that part. I don’t ‘hope’ I act to make the things that need to happen, happen.

1. Incorrect. Theory of evolution is amazingly well proven.
2. Scientists are much less likely to be religious- so you're wrong again.
3. I'll admit that there's a chance that there may be something greater than I can see.
2. If you can't figure out what the point of living is- then don't. More air for the rest of us. I personally am having a terrific time.
3. if you mean morality? It comes from my desire to not cause harm or suffering to others.
4. I don't need a supernatural deity to have hope. I know that there are forces that I cannot control in the world, but I don't expect a genie to annul the laws of physics on my behalf.

1) The Big Bang is where the universe came from as we recognize it. However, energy can not be created or destroyed, only transfered. And them finding the gene between other primates and us primates SUPPORTS the theory of evolution. And they're finding that anti-matter and dark energy and black holes exist (things we can't see).
2) Well, the point of my life is to enjoy myself and make sure the world is a better place than I found it so future generations can enjoy. Other people probably have other purposes.
3) I like being happy, and I like the people around me to be happy.
4) I can't find hope in people who think gene similarities "disprove" the theory of evolution, that's for sure.
I find hope in people who strive against the impossible, trying to improve the world instead of blowing it up.

Since when does the TOH fail. It is the best supported theory in all of science. Even if it were totally wrong (it's not) still does not imply a supernatural being made everything.
The point of living is just that, to live. Don't you find joy in just being alive? I hope I continue to have a happy successful life and live for as long as possible. If you need some kind of book to tell you how to live I have to wonder about you. I don't need a book to tell me how to treat others. I treat them how I would wanted to be treated.

Some scientist became believers in intelligent design after learning about DNA not the monkey factor.
It`s true the RH - monkey blood will combine certain elements referring to Blood components, but it is not the missing link as you claim. Example: Scientist have yet to explain the RH- negative blood relating to Blood types. So the jury is still out on the Missing Link.
