Greek Gods, who have lasted nearly 5 thousand years before the birth of jesus christ, and we have full documents on the teachings and religion of them.

Christianity, christians, you know who you are, but why do you love them?

Pastafarianism, possibly the coolest looking God on earth, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, who touches those with his noodly appendages, has recently became a true religion.

Pagans, ok, im sorefully confused about this religion, it seems to be a hybrid between druidism and wiccan. Pagan Goddess, thats all i know of it.Oh, and celtics.

Wiccan, im not a stereotyper, but this just seems to be witchcraft in the eyes of most religions.

Druidism, the belief in mother nature, worshiping life, and that the Earth is the only god we worship. Unfortunately, hippies ruined this grand religion.

So, out of all these religions, which is best?

I see people believing in one God ( mono )
Polys .. believing in many Gods

Theists , Deists etc

ok I believe that the God I believe in is the same God in many/all religions
that we see God differently , percieve God differently , that there are many aspects of this God energy ( which may explain polys view of Gods ) ... i suppose similar to the way Hindu's believe

I sit here often and wonder where I really fit
I answer questions to Thesist but most times dont feel like Theist is what I am ... my God isnt a personal God
it is an energy , a distant source

hheeelpp ? lol

I am a new pagan I have felt a strong pull toward pagan, wicca, witchcraft for a very long time and I have now decided to open my heart and mind to it. I live in an extreamly small southern town where most of my friends and neighbors are southern Baptist. How do I decline the many invitations to their churches and such without offending them. since I am new I have not told any friends yet and I worry about their reactions to this I am happy to share the truth about my religion but I fear they are to closeminded. any help will be greatly appreciatd.

Please share what you know about consciousness and the human brain.

Prefer what you know about it scientifically.

However, your metaphysical views are welcome as are your
religious viewpoints too.

Like we could get the nerds at Yahoo! (Lol, I'm just pokin' fun at the techno-squad-no offense meant!) to create a chat forum and we could start chains with discussion starters and for every move played, we could counter. That way you don't have to win in just 3 moves or less.

If we got a petition, dontcha' think they would have to?
That would be awesome.

i dont understand...i mean our country was founded by Christians escaping religious persecution...our founding fathers were Christians and when they wrote our constitution and declaration of independence, they did it with religious beliefs.. its ok if you dont believe in God but you dont have to make such a big deal and hate the USA for it ya know..just ignore it and live the life you want and dont let it get to you, b/c if you like it or not...it will still be there

Would that not make you think that the Holy Spirit is GOD..? If its only his "Active Force" as you believe..then , if blashemy agaist the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin..would that mean it is greater than God? Would it not stand to reason that such an important thing to God would mean that it is part of GOD..the part that lives inside each born again Christian..?
I hope you can understand my question..thanks!

I heard in Catholic Bibles like NJB Christ's words on the Cross are "It is acomplished" and not "It is finished."

Does this subtle change not betray a massive and dangerous lie?

When people say I hate Muslims, they are really saying " I hate Arabs". They often describe Christian Arabs as being of Muslim descent.

We don't have that problem with the president, or with our own parents, or with anyone else. We know they exist because we see them and hear them.
