scientists say we're a primate, and therefore closely related to monkeys. if you go further back in the evolutionary tree you discover that our next closest relatives are shrews and lemurs and then you get to rodents!
thats right, next to monkeys and lemurs we are the close relative of RATS!
creationists - does that make it even worse? or do you not care if evolution says your closely related to a rat as well as a monkey.

The Catholics and the Orthodox teach Scripture and Tradition.
The Protestants teach "sola Scripture."
What do the non denominational Christian churches teach?

I am simply trying to figure how much information tenants of Creationism have... but feel free to bash and flame if you need to.

I figured that I'd show them to my little brother and sister, neices and nephews. That way when they get older they won't have as much of a problem understanding why I practice Witchcraft and Magic(k). They might even follow me in my Faith.

as opposed to the "earthly class" that will live forever on earth?

" And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel" ( NASB ).

Jehovah's Witnesses say the 144, 000 refers to the anointed class of believers who have a heavenly destiny ( Rev 14:1-3 ) ( Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1989, 166-167 )

These 144, 000 are the ones referred to as the "little flock" in Luke 12:32?

Ok first off I would like to say that I understand not all Christians are like this. i am only addressing the christians that are. I'm a waitress and I think it is very rude and disrespectful of you to have me stop my working and put me on the spot in front of nine of your friends asking me if I would like you to pray for me. I also think it's rude, when you leave me a book or paper cross about God instead of a tip. And furthermore, it is very rude to walk by me and tell me that Jesus loves me. First of all, you don't know me. Second of all what if I'm muslim? Or buddhist? Or whatever-- i dont care what you do, or how you sin or don't, or what you believe in....that's fine. do what you do--just don't go around shoving your religion down my throat. It's like you expect to be accepted and treated with respect for being christian but totally disregard the respect for others.

By definition apostasy is the condition of those who once in some degree embraced the truth and have now abandoned or forsaken it. Mainly this is not really going to be a question but a what do you think. I find it completely and uterlly ridiculous that we have a president who claims to be a Christian and openly acknowledges his belief in universalism and attack the supreme doctrine of Christianity. When asked in an interview with ABC's Charles Gibson,

Q. "Do we all worship the same God? You know Christians and Muslims?"

A. "I think we do, we all just have different ways of getting to the almighty."

Q."Do Christians and non Christians and Muslims go to heaven in your mind?"

A." Yes they do. We all just have different ways of getting there."

So I am just curious what those who are professing to be Christians have to say about this and is anyone as outraged as I am?

Sometimes I hear christians comment that we are a wealthy country because it's a blessing from God. I tend to think more on it as Americas wealthy because we exploite mans own weakness, greed.

At the ascension, several disciples witnessed Christ wanishing in to clouds. Then some angels told the disciples that Christ at the second coming " will come in just the same way as you have watched him going into heaven" ( NASB ) - that is, he disappeared from view. The Jehovah's Witnesses say this passage indicates that the second coming will be an invisible event ( Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1989, 243 ).

I am working on a anthro paper and am desperate for peoples take on this topic. How is it different from being born into islam as oppose to converting to islam and having to learn the rituals and traditions of it. Are there any type of distinction between the two. If i was to convert what would i have to learn that a muslim person would already know?

This is ridiculous. There is a statute of limitations on misdemeanor charges, especially trespassing.

However, this is a small example of what pro-life Christians have dealt with for 30 + years.
