Wow - how ironic!
Acts 1:9-11 actually proves that it will be a VISIBLE event!
Just as He literally and physically was seen to ascend, so to will He literally and physically come again.
It never ceases to amaze me how scripture is and can be turned completely upside-down, as if to mean the exact opposite of what it actually says.
I mean...not a mere "twisting" of the truth...but an actual reversal of truth!
Kind of like when I was an atheist and sat down to read the Bible and prove it wrong...
I thought Jesus was the leader of the religious people and spewed out hate and condemnation on all the "sinners", telling them they were all going to hell.
Instead, the truth is...Jesus was the friend of "sinners", and came not to judge or condemn...but to save! And the only people He "yelled" at were the hypocritical religious leaders!
...and then, I...an atheist...was turned literally upside-down!
From darkness to light...polar opposites!
Praise be the Lord Jesus Christ for His grace, mercy, and love!
I pray He open the eyes of the blind, so that they may see!

How did you come up on the invisible second coming of Jesus Christ? The Bible is so very clear about Jesus as the central figure in the Bible, God manifested in the flesh so visible wholly human? If the passage make sense, seek no other sense or else you will come up in a non-sense! The only interpreter of the Bible is the Bible itself. You just read and understand plainly what the Bible says, putting thing in order and not out of order and you will havethe real truth. To allegorized the Bible or look for other meaning than what it clearly says is a moral suicide and a logical-spiritual crime.

Great question. If the first coming was clearly, unmistakeable visible, why should not the second coming be visible as well. Clearly, the Scriptures teach the Second Coming in visible terms "every eye shall see Him" I have never heard of an invisible coming. I guess they liken it to the coming of the Holy Spirit to dwell in believer's hearts.

Not exactly, but other Scriptures do make that point.
The apostle Paul plainly implied that the enemies of Christianity would NOT be able to "see" Christ.
(1 Timothy 6:13-16) I give you orders that you observe the commandment...until the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ. ...who dwells in unapproachable light, whom not one of men has seen or can see.
(Ephesians 1:18) ...the eyes of your heart having been enlightened...
(2 Corinthians 3:16) When there is a turning to Jehovah, the veil is taken away.
The fact that Jesus comes "in the clouds" certainly does not imply that Jesus strums a harp while lounging on puffy white cumulus, but it does remind serious bible students of the presence of the sun behind clouds. Anyone can "see" that the sun has risen, even if the sun's outline is not plainly delineated. The effects of the sun can be seen, and any person can discern the other clues indicating the literal presence of the sun above the horizon.
(Revelation 1:5-7) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,”...Look! He is coming with the clouds
The bible describes something similar with regard to the personal qualities of the Creator.
(Romans 1:19-20) What may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made
Thus, it seems rather obvious that only those actually LOOKING for the Christ will discern his presence. That is the sense that Acts 1:11 uses when it compares Jesus' ascent to his "return" or '[second] coming', which was and is perceived only by a small group of true Christians.
(Acts 1:6-11) When, now, they [the earliest Christians] had assembled, they went asking him: “Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?” He said to them: “It does not belong to you to get knowledge of the times or seasons...but you will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses...to the most distant part of the earth.” And after he had said these things, while they were looking on, he was lifted up and a cloud caught him up from their vision. ...This Jesus who was received up from you into the sky will come thus in the same manner as you [that is, the relatively small number of true Christians rather than the general population] have beheld him going into the sky.

but they saw jesus ascend. I believe we will see jesus decend when he comes back. He went up through the clouds and will come down through the clouds. The JW's get hung up on disputable matters that don't matter. What really matters is that one way or another jesus is coming back. BE READY. He'll come like a theif in the night when no one suspects him. SURPRISE!!!!!

This probably doesn't answer this question, but the new Testament does not contain the phrase "the second coming".
Search it for yourself. If you find a new modern translation that uses the term, check it out with the Strong's Concordance. It will tell you the way the Bible is worded in the original languages. (Some modern translations are not true translations, but incorporate popular idiom of the day.)

On the contrary!
The answer from the angels indicate that Jesus' Second Coming will be as His "going", namely, that coming and going are opposite, then His coming will be from the invisible to the visible.
Revelation 19:11-17 verifies that Jesus' Second Coming will be visible to all. No one will miss it!

I am not JW, however Jesus second coming was a spiritual return that occurred when Jesus established the Christian church upon the earth. The Christian church represents the restoration of God's spiritual kingdom upon the earth.

Absolutely not! Peter tells the crowd that He will return IN LIKE MANNER as they SAW Him ascend. We know that the crowd WATCHED him as He ascended. So if He is to return in like manner, we will certainly see Him. This concept is likewise confirmed in Revelation 1:7, where we are told that when He returns EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM.
