I am not trying to be arrogant, I want some real answers

I dont understand how anyone can see how our world was made without a "higher being". It's huge and has trillions of parts that all work together. Please tell me why you dont believe in God

I removed all the people on my block user list.About a 182 of them.I have been praying about it and come to the point where I felt like I was burying my candle under a basket.I can't witness to them if they can't see who I am?And I must admit that God has showed me some very ugly things about me that I hope have changed for the better. With God' help maybe they will see more of Jeses now and less of me.I pray that they do, and I can do the work that God has called me to do in love.

1)Why do we pray?If god has a plan for our live is praying for somthing not saying we know better?
2)When Cain slew able,God bannished Cain to wonder the world.Cain the first born of Adam and Eve the first people on earth.Cain gets married.Where did his wife come from?
3)God knows us better than we know ourselves. Why did God test Lot.Asked him to burn his son alive. If God knows us better why all the test?
4)Why if God is so all powerful he does not let hisself be known?Seems to me if he wants all of us to fall to our knees and worship the ground he walks on,he would show hisself

Just a few thoughts.I am not trying to make anyone mad.I just want to know. And there is allot more to ask.....thanks

With all the recent crap coming out all the time, ( no DNA, No linguistics, no archeological evidence, no, no,no), don't you get tired of the gloating questions, from no nothing, experts, who only wish to ridicule?
I am not a member anymore, not because of this, but of lack of constitution, to stop smoking, and just a , I guess, rebellious soul.
How do you guys keep your faith, when the enemy assaileth all the time? Isn't it harder to keep going, when the evidence is so overwhelming?
Is it really faith in the gospel, or sheer cussedness, and stubbornness? How much is too much??
Whatever it is, I am proud of you!

I was just looking into joining an on-line christian group and they sent me an e-mail asking for my correct name, DOB, postal mailing address and telephone number. If I don't give this information, I am not allowed to join.
Would you give out this information on the Internet?
Comments please.

Or is it just me?

Seems that Buddhism focuses on the knowable and does not address anything unknowable - therefore believing or not believing in God and other unknowables is a non-issue in Buddhism.

But in the matters of the knowable -- I find the two belief systems to be very similar and in agreement...Even to the point where it's possible for a person to practice Catholicism and be agnostic, and possible for a person to practice Buddhism and be Christian.

I ask because my most recent attempts at participation in Church leave me thin on meeting my needs to relate person to person and that is where Buddhism steps in. But then there is my relationship with God which is not addressed in Buddhism and so I rely on the Roman Catholic community. But I really feel like a kid whose parents have divorced...and would like to reconcile this issue within my own self.

The "two masters" I percieve are Christ and His Body...
Thoughts?

I recently had a strong atheist try to "convert" me! Unbelievable! I was told I was ignorant and a coward...among other things. He repeatedly tried to convince me to believe that because of his logic and his reasoning that there is no god. My stance, from the beginning, was that untill I have undeniable proof of God's existence or non-existence, I am not willing to make claims of either. I have never encountered such a religiously intolerant person. My personal beliefs are my own and I will not disrespect someone for their faith or lack of it. What do you all think and have you encountered this before??

Into the great unknown, what seeds do you sew?

To family, to friends, to loved ones, to children, to those who will follow..

as your ego and identity transforms to heaven, to oblivion or to walk again in these places,

what will you pass on, when you leave all this behind?

I know it sounds bad but think about what kind of people they were. Did they deserve to live?

The justness of God’s prophetic curse on Canaan found full confirmation in the conditions that had developed in Canaan by the time of the Israelite conquest. Jehovah had allowed 400 years from Abraham’s time for the ‘error of the Amorites to come to completion.’ (Ge 15:16) The fact that Esau’s Hittite wives were “a source of bitterness of spirit to Isaac and Rebekah” to the extent that Rebekah had ‘come to abhor her life because of them’ is certainly an indication of the badness already manifest among the Canaanites. (Ge 26:34, 35; 27:46) During the centuries that followed, the land of Canaan became saturated with detestable practices of idolatry, immorality, and bloodshed. The Canaanite religion was extraordinarily base and degraded, their “sacred poles” evidently being phallic symbols, and many of the rites at their “high places” involving gross sexual excesses and depravity. (Ex 23:24; 34:12, 13; Nu 33:52; De 7:5) Incest, sodomy, and bestiality were part of ‘the way of the land of Canaan’ that made the land unclean and for which error it was due to “vomit its inhabitants out.” (Le 18:2-25) Magic, spellbinding, spiritism, and sacrifice of their children by fire were also among the Canaanites’ detestable practices.—De 18:9-12.

This is very freaky about the way December 21, 2012 will be the end of the world. "Why the number 21-12-2012 ? The numbers 21 & 12 are mirrors of each other , which indicate symmetry or justification. why 2012 ? 20 + 1+2 = 23. 2/3=0.666666666666.....666 is the devil's number." Apparently it won't be the end of the world, it will be the beginning of the end, and anti christs (devil sons) will take control (the 666 is the proof)
