Into the great unknown, what seeds do you sew?

To family, to friends, to loved ones, to children, to those who will follow..

as your ego and identity transforms to heaven, to oblivion or to walk again in these places,

what will you pass on, when you leave all this behind?

I think that as long as someone else is aware of our existence (as we think and are) we will always leave something behind in the memories of such person (or people), even in the briefest of encounters.

What will I pass on? Honestly, I don't know, but would like to think that perhaps the memories of those who love me will be so that they would feel my presence there, even in the absence of my shell.

A wise person once said that the way to plan your life is to write your own eulogy...what you want to be said of you at your funeral. Then live your life in a way that will make that come true. I will leave behind a family and friends that I supported and loved in every way that I could with the resources that were available to me in this life.

My children. I hope to have raised two fine people who give freely to others in need, who stand up for others, and who follow their dreams and follow through on their goals.
Everything else to me is nothing. my children are the only legacy I am concerned with. I'll be dust after I die, and that doesn't bother me a bit.

I will pass on my passion for love, integrity, and moral value to my son, and my husband. My strength to do the right thing, and compassion when it comes to others. My willingness to always want to help my friends and family, and strangers who need it.
I do have faults but I'm hoping that those will be mine only and not be inherited by my son. I'm trying my best to provide a loving environment, and nurturing one as well.

GREAT QUESTION! :-)

everyone will leave a legacy one way or another.
whether it's good or bad,
everyone will leave
behind something
that life taught them.
what other people need to know,
will be answered
somehow through
the legacy of
someone else's life.
for each person,it
will be something different.
different legacies
will serve different purposes
for different people.
everyone who remains in
this world,
will all have their
own lessons to learn.
and different people's
legacies will
impact everyone
in a different way.

Not much since I'm almost poor as dirt. I have no spouse or children. Assets are close to nil. I won't be leaving behind a corpse. I plan to be cremated.

What will I pass on? If I'm lucky, I'll pass on the White House lawn.
