I removed all the people on my block user list.About a 182 of them.I have been praying about it and come to the point where I felt like I was burying my candle under a basket.I can't witness to them if they can't see who I am?And I must admit that God has showed me some very ugly things about me that I hope have changed for the better. With God' help maybe they will see more of Jeses now and less of me.I pray that they do, and I can do the work that God has called me to do in love.

(((Don))) Dear brother, :-)

Anytime you obey God, you are doing the right thing. When we obey Him, we are living in love.

I sing praises to Your Name, Oh Lord, praises to Your Name, Oh Lord, for Your Name is great, and greatly to be praised!!! (I just can't help myself! ;-)

Quite the number brother. I am really touched that you shared something like that about yourself. Being able to see ourselves and have that area or areas of our lives touched by the Lord says that the Lord is getting a way to gain your heart.

Maybe brother this is a time to just do some sifting. Some here may or may not have changed their attitudes, depending on the kind of responses you get will determine who should permanently remain on your blocked list and who could be reached in some way.

There is always the aspect of there just being a small opening and maybe the words you share may have some impact in a positive way.

In the end brother.. we need to throw out the seeds of the gospel of Christ Jesus on not just the good earth.. but all the earths. Who knows how the Lord can have a way to soften some hardened ground.. or pull out the rocks from others or the thorns from another.. ( Mark 4) Only the Lord knows.

At least your heart is in the right place before the Lord. We have all grown in some way by being here brother. So many things in my own being is being exposed before the Lord through not just the Lord but my brothers and sisters and even our gospel friends.

Lets keep on just loving the Lord and remain abiding In Him.
Apart from Him... we can do nothing.:)

In Christ always
Your sister

if god is leading you to do this then yu have definitely done the right thing, as long as you are following his guidance, then you know that you are fine, maybe he has a reason for wanting you to take them off block. just trust in him and his plan and you will be just fine. i understand how you feel, when all your trying to do is help lead someone to christ, or just trying to put your beliefs out there and explain the word of god, and people just start mocking you and harrassing you, i had a guy do this to me the other day, after i answered his question and explained my position on god and the bible and eternity, he started sending me one message after another just telling me how stupid i was and really being mean, i don't see the point in treating others that way just because you don't agree with them, i didn't block him but after debating him for awhile, i just quit answering his messages. god did say not to throw your pearl before swine, and when people become that way, they are in my opinion acting like a pig, and i don't have to put up with that, i did my part, itried to talk to him like a civil person, it didn't work, so i put it in god's hands. i prayed for him and left it at that, and if he would have continued to harrass me then i wold have blocked him. but you are doing the right thing if you are being led by god. i know that you only want to help these people, i pray that you will be able to reach some of them. god bless.

A person takes this a little too seriously, imo, if they have 182 people they recognize well enough to block.

I didnt even know there was a block user list.

The people you dont like or highly disagree with are the most fun to debate many times.

that is what it is all about, listening to the Holy Spirit, and growing in God.
i have 2 blocked because hey are both mean vicious troll.
not because of what they believe, or profess to believe.
but if we block everyone that does not agree with us, then we end up preaching to the choir.
Jesus said go ye into all the world and preach the gospel, and the gospel is the good news, not the condemnation.
but unblocking them you have opened yourself up to showing that true love of God that we should be showing to everyone.
stay strong my brother, and may God always guide your steps.

I am aware of my feelings and choose my actions with detachment. I do what is right for me. I choose to be my best self no matter what happens.

I am not a hot head, but one Yahoo pushed me too far!!!

I only have only one on my block user list, and he's harrassed me with emailed insults several times, and twice more even AFTER blocking him.

I guess I can be grateful that he is insulting me on the internet, instead of shooting some one in person!

First, I would like to say "God bless you"
God deals with each of His children differently and if you feel He is leading you to do something, you should always do it...without question. Always be sure to test the Spirit with prayer and listen for Gods voice. He will never lead you wrong. If God is closing this set of people for you to witness to, perhaps He has others in mind.
Love in Christ...jmi

I have only ever blocked people who sent me harrassing or insulting emails. If that's why you blocked people on your list, be prepared for the hassling to start again. You are not required to put up with gratuitous abuse from total strangers. Even Jesus got angry occasionally.

Did you block them because they responded negatively to your "witnessing?"

To be perfectly honest, I don't think that your removal of 182 people from the block list will accomplish anything. What you need to do is become a less offensive witness. People will always respond badly if you single them out, evangelize to them, and generally treat them as targets for conversion. Believe it or not, most worthy targets for conversion actually don't agree with your view on things!

I sincerely hope that this 'forgiveness' is a first step in becoming less obnoxious to those who you try to preach to in the future. :D

I never looked at it that way. I think I might do the same.

PS - Did you get the e-mails I sent you?? Maybe there is something wrong with your e-mail link to your profile page. I sent you 2. Don't remember what they were about now. lol

I will agree with you in prayer brother, that God will use you in a mighty way as a witness of His Grace to others by this act of obedience. God bless you!!!
