Myself. I earned the money that bought the food, and then made the food into a meal. Though I did thank the guy who I get my beef from - they raise their cattle right! And I do thank the store clerks or the folks at the farmer's market for helping get the food.

I'm grateful for my circumstances that allow me to live a comfortable life. I know I could be a lot worse off, and I'm thankful that I'm not. And for the farmers who raised the food, plus whoever prepared it (myself or a chef at a restaurant).

What makes you think we thank anyone for our meals? We pay cash money for them just like you. Is 'thanking' someone like a tip or something?

The same people you do. Your parents for working and putting on the table.
Or, your husband for working and putting it on the table.
Or, yourself for being able to work and put it on the table.
