Sure sounds like it to me.

Of course, I think that they mostly do it because they don't have the imagination to be able to comprehend that other people could legitimately have beliefs that were - gasp!!! - DIFFERENT from their own.

Fear is a great motivator, either way.

I don't even know of a verse that says if you convert people you are promised heaven. That is a new one on me. I try to let Christ's light shine so that others may see him through me. I try to be an example instead of shoving God down others throats. If they ask me a question I will answer. Your question is ridiculous.

Yes, and if I convert four people by tomorrow, God also throws in a free strawberry smoothie! No, we witness to people because we don't want people to live and die separated from God. And we don't believe we convert; the Holy Spirit of God converts; we witness. You certainly don't have to accept, that's up to you. It doesn't affect my salvation one way or the other.

Herd instinct. Sheep become nervous and insecure when they see others not following the flock. They compensate by attempting to "convert" others into accepting to their delusional view of reality.

Salvation is not dependent on works, so your theory is wrong.
