I can't find sola scriptura nor sola fide in the Bible that evangelicals are preaching about. so doesn't that mean that sola scriptura and sola fide are unbiblical, and therefore all people can conclude that "sola scriptura, sola fide" is a man-made tradition?

according to Evangelicals all things that are not biblical when it comes to God should be rejected, so why don't they reject "sola scriptura, sola fide" when it's clear that it's not biblical?

This is what the world has had to deal with a bunch of charlatans body snatchers pretending to have seen a dead man walk again and ascend to heaven.

In all the translations I have read of Psalms 40:6, it is read as ".....but my ears you have pierced."

Then there is a footnote at the bottom that says:
Septuagint, "but a body you have prepaired for me"

Paul also quotes it this way in Hebrews 10:5. What is the true translation? Why is the Septuagint different from every translation in this particular verse?

Why is it that walls don't always easily come tumbling down?

Have you left all your walls behind?

Where did you go from there?

Sola scriptura does not mean that a person ignores and rejects everything that has ever been written, except the Bible.

But it does mean that a person can rightly declare that anything written by a person that contradicts the Bible is wrong.

Furthermore, it means that anything written by a person that does not contradict the Bible may or may not be true, but we don’t accept it as the absolute infallible Word of God.

We gain immeasurable blessing from all the church fathers, saints, and others who wrote about the Bible, to teach us and edify us.

The Catholics have their list, and the Protestants have this same list plus numerous others. But no Christian was infallible in their doctrine and teaching, so we don't accept any other person's writings as we do the Bible.

Neither St. Augustine nor Martin Luther wrote infallibly, and neither do Popes. But all may write very good and true things, consistent with the Bible and Gospel, and even led by the Holy Spirit.

I got an email on my work address today saying that we should boycott the new dollar coins because they don't say "In God We Trust" on them. Who cares?? It this really such a huge deal that people feel the need to boycott the stupid coins? I don't refuse to use regular money because it does say this and I don't believe in god. I mean, people rarely use them anyway. And I thought it was illegal to refuse proper US currency. Is that true? Doesn't it say this on our paper money? Does anyone else think some people are going a little too far here?

If there are any Jehovas out there I have a question and I'm really not trying to be insulting. Why do you go door to door? Is that part of what you are obligated to do. I think its great to spread the word and the women who came to my door were very polite and charismatic, but I never have any other religous affiliation come to my house. And also who do you believe Jesus is? I am new to the religion scence but have found a really great non denominational church; so how do you politely tell someone that your not intrested in their church?

A comparison of peoples' views in 34 countries finds that the United States ranks near the bottom when it comes to public acceptance of evolution.

Only Turkey ranked lower.

Among the factors contributing to America's low score are poor understanding of biology, especially genetics, the politicization of science and the literal interpretation of the Bible by a small but vocal group of American Christians, the researchers say.

"American Protestantism is more fundamentalist than anybody except perhaps the Islamic fundamentalists, which is why Turkey and we are so close," said study co-author Jon Miller of
